I am a big fan of both of these fighters both are very exciting to watch and i think this fight would be great. Both have good chins good stamina solid power and good defence. How do you see the outcome of this fight?

I go with Dwight easy.
I've always thought that Braxton / Qawi was a very under-rated fighter. Besides having a rock soild jaw, he had an above average defence, especially for somebody so short. He often out jabbed taller opponants and was a constant pressure fighter. And even though all fiighters have courage, his seems to be exemplory. I just watched his fight against Foreman agaiin last night and he was giving George fits in that fight. His credentials of who he's beat in his career also stack up better than Johnson's. That's the main point for me. The guys Qawi beat were a better group than Johnson's victims. I also think that Qawi was a force for a longer period than Johnson. Johnson's "peak" was about a 3 year period while Qawi's was a 5 year period. So I also give the longevity (not total career but who was the boss longer) to Qawi.

My pick would be Qawi W12 (U)

Pretty even matchup here. I think Qawi was a bit better in his heyday. He was a more compact man and a more compact puncher. I think he pounds out a close decision victory over Glen in a great back and forth fight.

I agree. Both guys have given some very good fighters hard times. Glen has been a handful for Tarver and Dawson. Qawi for Spinks and Holyfield. That's where the difference is though. Qawi was able to fight on even terms with GREAT fighters consistently. His compact style, incredible toughness and overlooked boxing ability would carry him to victory.

Yeah qawi had very good defence i just watched Leon Spinks vs Qawi, Qawi smashed him but spinks looked terribly weight drained he had lost around 30 pounds in a short time and could barley move.

Wow! It would be a tremendous fight. I would have to learn towards Qawi. He was just really seperior to Johnson in every category. Hand speed, punching power, infighting and had the better outside boxing ability. I don't see Qawi stopping Johnson and it would be very competitive, but Qawi wins by unanimous decision. He was just a buzzsaw.

Would you know where i could get my hands on that fight? Qawi vs Spinks title unifcation. I searched everywhere and i couldn't find it anywhere. Spinks won a unanimous decision but i hear Qawi did well.

Oh the Micheal Spinks fight. I got that on DVD Spinks was up on his feet moving and did a very good job but Qawi put Spinks down in the 13th. To be honest Spinks won most of the rounds imo but the judges had it closer than i thought it should have been.
I have the Leon Spinks fight as well for the cruiserweight title Qawi put on a master display of inside fighting he smashed Leon to pieces. The problem Leon had was he was massively weight drained he could barley move it was actually kind of sad to watch he shouldn’t have even been in there. my fav Qawi fights are his first fight with Matthew Saad Muhammad and his first fight with Holyfield.

Well Leon was never that good anyway. He was mainly known for having a good amatuer background and doing well in the Olympics, winning a gold medal. That and his upset win over an aging Muhammad Ali. Even on his best day, i couldn't see him matching well against Qawi. He was just too reckless and wild and Qawi would have picked him apart from both the outside and just out classed him on the inside, just like he did in their fight.

Its good that you have those fights. I'm going to start searching the web and see if i can get those any where.

Wow! great matchup, I am wondering also if Qawi wouldnt be too physically strong for the fight to make it to the final bell.
