Mundine dropped in 3rd round. From left hook.
No flash knock down either, he went down like a sack of potatoes. Got up around 8.
Mosley doing guest commentary, after 1st round said mundine reminded him of RJJ

Ult thinks Mundine was world-class and says that Mosley will make the a fight against Winky Wright. He even thinks Mundine will be heavily favored to win against Winky or Sturm. Here's his blog:

'Wednesday night boxing in Australia was highly entertaining with a robbery and a world class performance all on the same card. The undercard kicked off with several weak one sided bouts, before the big time fighters in Billy Dib and Anthony Mundine got into the ring. Billy Dib was lucky to win and Anthony Mundine once again showed he is world class.

Billy Dib was extremely lucky to walk away with the IBO Super Featherweight title against Zolani Marali. I gave Marali 7 rounds and he clearly won the fight on my scorecard. Billy Dib was dropped in the 3rd round and he seemed very weak and you all know why he got the decision, which was explained to the public by the commentator in Paul Briggs.

Anthony Mundine then stepped into the ring producing a performance which was one of the best of his career. Mundine was a class above the hard hitting and highly entertaining Crazy Kim of Japan. Mundine landed some big lead rights and his speed allowed him to control the fight. Mundines defence slipped in the 3rd round and he was dropped by a big left hook. Mundine then showed his chin is world class and he fought his way back into the fight. Comprehensively winning on all judges scorecards and impressing Shane Mosley. So much so that Shane Mosley classified Mundine as one of the best fighters in the world. Mosley also said that Mundine would be loved by the American public for his style which resembles Roy Jones Junior. Anyone who saw Mundines fight tonight saw a world class fighter with a world class chin.

As Shane Mosley said, Mundine should now fight a big name American next. He has the tools to trouble the best with all his arsenal on show tonight. Winky Wright looms as the big name and the likely opponent, with Mosley further clarifying that he was trying to make this fight and that this fight was likely to happen. Tonight was a great night for Australian boxing and Anthony Mundine proved once again that he is carrying Australian boxing fans on his shoulders. His next opponent will be either Winky or Sturm and he will be a heavy favourite to win.'

Throughout the duration I was listening on Triple M this morning, they didn't mention at all if Mundine won the fight. All they stated was that a private investigator was there to question Khoder Nasser over Sonny and a little kerfuffle broke out.

yeah there's a story about that on fox sports.. says khoder wasnt even there.. is plannign to fly to the UK today.. but the private investigator was threatened by a few of his associates and had to get the piggers to escort him out.

Saw it on sports tonight, crazy kim caught mundine with his hands down, no reaction. Just got hit clean on the jaw stood for a second then fell on his ass, while i was on the ground laughing at him. Now I know why he doesn't fight world class boxers.

Crazy Kim put in a performance Crazy John and Mad Ron would have been very proud of! The KD of Choc has to be KD of the year, hands down! Kim's the 'Man'. How's Mundine's post fight interview saying he was too slick (yawn) and.... He looked battered.LOL

Mundine sure dropped like sack of spuds. Not many if any pubs and clubs showed the fight last night. Barry Michael wrote a tiny paragraph talking about the fight which was next to horse racing results at the tail end of sports section in Herald Sun.

I'm glad to see various mediums stopping to cover anything associated Mundine and I salute them.

Crazy Kim :You_Rock_

Received a nice pm yesterday, looks like Ultimate is back and still madly in love with Mundine.. i knew he couldnt resist talking about Mundine for to much longer, this guy is as big as a joke as hes boyfriend "the man" Mundine.

Just wondering have you seen the fight?

I rate it his 2nd best performance after Echolls.

Really commanded the entire fight.

Showed a good chin aswell. Crazy landed a massive left hook. Massive. He had a delayed reaction, but recovered really quickly.

A good showing.

It must be said.
Yes im a hater what has Mundine done except fighting bum after bum to make me think otherwise

Echols, Danny Green, Kessler, Soliman, Ottke. There are some decent fighters right now.

The main thing is that you look to the future. Hes got the right intentions.

Whether hes good enough to beat them we will know soon.

Lets hope Katsidis gets up!

I only rate Kessler and Mundine lost that fight.. soliman is just an awkward fighter not that great, Green is hes biggest win which is kind of sad..

Mundines intentions are to milk the Australian public by fighting fighters with less risk, how many times has he said he was going to fight a fighter of note? plenty of times and how many has he fought? what happened to middleweight?

I think you're the only one who actually believes the **** that comes out of hes mouth..

Good luck to you, u dont stop supporting him after all the **** hes pulls and seem to be the only one that believes in him, i just think you chose the wrong fighter with the wrong intentions to fall in love with.

Dib got owned for at least 8 rounds, some rounds he only connected 3 quasi-decent shots.

Another reason why not to watch aus boxing PPV.

If that punch sat him on his arse, then I understand why he doesn't fight anyone any good.

Mundine has said he is fighting at middleweight but his debut fight there which wasn't was against a person who has been fighting at light heavywieght for the past 2 years its a joke and until he fights Winky Wright or Kelly Pavlik or Felix Strum the Australian fans and media should boycott the Mundie circus show

All I'm reading is how close Green is to accepting an offer to fight Mundine.

also to Ult, wherever you are, **** off, no one on a forum has ever managed to frustrate me as much as you, you are the single most dense and blinded crunt I've ever come across.

You are more a joke than Mundine is.

What the **** is Mundine doing fighting a Jap named Crazy Kim, still fighting in Aust at this point of his career, he should be over in the US. If his next opponent is a nobody i wont be taking any notice of The Man anymore. he has the talent, he should be using it in significant fights.

Mundine could be a really good fighter, but if he keeps on fighting fringe contenders like Crazy Kim and Sam Soliman, he will never get any recognition.

if mundine doesnt fight a big name in his next fight, then i dont think he is even worthy of a mention on this board or any others

Agreed, I would actually be intrested into seeing Mundines ppv numbers for hes last couple of fights, I just cant see how he is still on ppv fighting these bums and that people are dumb enough to still pay to watch him.
