Yesterday we have those PTI *******s showing there ignorance, now today Jim Rome decided he wanted to take a shot at MMA. Pulled off the UG......

Jime Rome is big. He reaches millions of people a day, and has a very strong fan base. Today he said that Iron Mike signed with K-1 and that he has hit an all time low. He said Mike will fit well with "no rules **** fighting". He said that Mike will get in there and kill someone and that is what MMA is all about. Send Jim Rome an email if you have sent one to PTI, and help MMA.

You can Email him at rome@haveatake.com

PTI is just a show with a couple of blowhards who don't know **** about MMA. They should stick to matters that they are knowledgeable about.

According to fcfighters database there has been almost 20,000 fights and the only death was from an underground fight. Beats the hell out of boxing.

The only official death in mma was in an unsanctioned match in I think Russia

All this was is a dying show looking for ratings. Maybe not at first but that's what it's turned in to. Look for someone to play good guy and do a show on MMA soon to try and get a positive feed back from all of us. To main stream sports we as MMA fans fall in the same ranks as pro wrestling and monster trucks. To them we are uneducated, beer drinking hoosiers that don't count in the ratings. The average MMA fan is in the key viewing range that the want so bad. The 18-35 college educated, middle class male who spends money online and watches too much TV.
If one main stream sports show would cover MMA their ratings would jump over night. Their loss.

well one death out of thousands of fights isn't a bad ratio compared to boxing or for arguements sake the wwe
