View Full Version : Ken Jennings
TysonForeman 11-01-2004, 06:56 PM Has anyone else been watching JEOPARDY!? Ken Jennings has won like 62 games, he's got a total of 2.15 million dollars. This guy is my hero. I seriously will feel horrible if Ken loses. If he decides to retire undefeated then I'll give this guy a standing ovation in my living room.
I've been hearing rumors that he loses his 75th game, if that's true I'm going to be depressed.

He's by far the greatest contestant in the history of that show.

I try :p................ 10 characters
TysonForeman 11-01-2004, 07:10 PM LOL, man it's Jeopardy, the jokes are always incredibly retarded. I don't think he seems that ****y. And remember he's a Mormon, so figure that in there...
Maybe he found some long hidden Jeopardy scriptures that reveal the secret of the show.
The Fix 11-01-2004, 07:12 PM or maybe he is just a big know it all nerd :D
TysonForeman 11-01-2004, 07:16 PM I prefer the Mormon explanation, there's just no way a normal human can know all that ****.

The fix is totally in. Jeopardy's ratings were plummeting. They're up 50% this year, the first year when "winners" can come back as many times as they want. And they get a clean-cut, blonde, white God-fearing guy to attract the Jeopardy demographic.
I guess they didn't learn with the scandals from the 1950s. For more info on those, see the movie "Quiz Show" with John Turturro.

never looked at it like that. you have some very good points
mic573 11-01-2004, 07:54 PM Why can't the man just have his moment without people saying the game is fixed or the constant hating on the man. Until it is proven that game is fixed I'll just say that he is very smart.
TysonForeman 11-01-2004, 08:05 PM Yeah, I agree he's smart as hell, and he just won another game. He's up to 2,151,901 dollars. If he wins tomorrow he'll probably have passed the all time record for most money ever won on a game show. This guy is the greatest thing ever.
TysonForeman 11-01-2004, 08:05 PM By the way, if Ken Jennings loses, this avatar is going down.
jabsRstiff 11-02-2004, 07:57 AM I've enjoyed Ken's run.....but I can't see getting upset when he loses.
Why do you ant to see one guy PILE ON top of his millions....instead of seeing a variety of people enhancing their lives a bit with a nice $20,000 ?
Wouldn't you rather see ten people be able to pay their kids' way through school, than see ONE guy give 10% of his winnings to his church....& buy several cars, & maybe a boat ?
Bombardier 11-02-2004, 08:28 AM Not to give away the ending of the movie here, but apparently the November 16th show is the one where the man is rumoured to finally lose. Ratings should be huge once the word spreads a bit more.
I enjoyed watching him rack up the dollars until he hit about his first million, then got bored with it. A local station is started showing the early early Seinfeld seasons so I had to tune into that instead. Those early episodes were nothing short of brilliant. The stuff after that just doesn't compare.
TysonForeman 11-02-2004, 03:05 PM In my opinion only X-Files can challenge Seinfeld for the title of Greatest Show of All Time.
And about Jeopardy!, Ken gives me a reason to watch the show, I really like the show, but I just can't get into it when it's just three nobodys playing each other. It's so much better when you're rooting for one guy.
