Carlos Newton will be going back to Japan to fight in a couple of months for Pride.
Newton has signed a deal to fight on October 8th to fight in the Pride Bushido event. His opponent most likely will be Mishima who will fight Newton at 170 pounds.
Newton last fought in Pride against Anderson Silva and sustained a KO loss, so he looks to get back on the winning track. Carlos Newton will fight in the Pride Bushido show on October 8th.

mmaweekly.com is reporting today that Newton's opponent will be Dokonjonosuke (sp?) Mishima, and they will fight at 170.

I think he's actually a judoka that has modified his style. I love the Bushido concept. About ****ing time!!! There are potentially some AMAZING ****ing matches to be made. This may even resurrect Saku's carreer....

Bushido is basically gonna be a pride event dedicated to 180 lb fighters and under, and will have pride and shooto fighters involved. Anderson Silva has already been announced to be fighting in this event, Busta is also rumoured to be invloved. I think its a great idea and just might give the poster boy Saku a chance of being a champion again.

thankx seraph.....that would be awesome but for the life of me i can't understand why everyone always wants saku to win i'd like to see pele win or have frank shamrock get it in i'd love to see that
