Cotto would run into the same problems that he ran in with Ricardo again against Trinidad becuase he is another fighter that is straight with his power and has that counter left hook. The things that Torres didn't have was the great ability to finish his opponent the way Trinidad did, the boxing ability and the chin. Trinidad by late TKO.

And this is why Tito walks around at 170-190 btween fights and always about killed himself to make welter.
I think he did it because he didn't want to take the power of middleweights but even if that's true it was a good plan.
Cotto is a SMALL and has a hard glass jaw which would break under Tito's power without Tito having to worry to much about his power.

This would be much easier for Tito than expected. Anyone who tried to stop Tito with body shots got caught by nasty hooks and uppers. His ability to finishes the opponents was brutal. Tito hands down.
