It's very hard to judge. As fans we only see these players on football pitches, running 10-50 yards at the most and most of the time with the ball at their feet.

There's a difference between speed with a ball and speed over 100m. Ronaldo would probably be the fastest with a ball at his feet but over 100m, I don't have a clue.

A couple years ago Rommedahl could run 100m in just over 10 seconds. That's extremely quick for a footballer.
