View Full Version : Who Do You Think Is Better Lyrically, Raekwon Or Ghostface Killah? Truth 07-20-2008, 06:15 PM This is a tough one, not sure... S.G. 07-20-2008, 07:41 PM Ghostface's gibberish >>>>>>>>>> Raekwon -Antonio- 07-20-2008, 07:44 PM Never a big fan of Raekwon, always dug Pretty Tony's work. Mike06j770 07-20-2008, 08:00 PM do we have to choose????? S.G. 07-20-2008, 08:29 PM Raekwon is pretty ordinary IMO (ordinary amongst the top rappers, not in the grand scheme of things) The Fix 07-20-2008, 08:48 PM ghost, especially newer stuff. aristotlemoses 07-21-2008, 03:07 AM i dunno ghost is always gridin with his music it seems like. makes me like him better than raekwon. plus ghost got me wearing wallabees MetalVomit 07-21-2008, 05:13 PM Ghostface, sometimes he says some off the wall ****, but Raekwon is inferior. Floyd Sinclair 07-21-2008, 05:13 PM i think raekwon was at one point...both of them are still nice as **** but i gotta say ghostface is better...his storytellin is top 3-5 all time. I would love to hear an album from both of them...i dont know if i can think of a better duo lyrically nas and AZ? RAESAAD 07-21-2008, 05:15 PM This is a tough one, not sure... I'm going with Ghost by a slim margin. Spambo boy 07-21-2008, 05:19 PM Introducing, the Ghost..face.. Killuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh!! No one could get iller el malo 07-21-2008, 08:53 PM i think raekwon was at one point...both of them are still nice as **** but i gotta say ghostface is better...his storytellin is top 3-5 all time. I can't agree with you more, ghost storytelling ability makes him one of the illest alltime. Floyd Sinclair 07-22-2008, 10:22 AM I can't agree with you more, ghost storytelling ability makes him one of the illest alltime. co-sign....in my opinion if hes not top 10 alltime hes damn close. Hes in my top 10...but i couldnt respect a list that didnt have him in the top 15. Hes got one of the best and most consistent discographys Ironman-Classic Bulletproof Wallets-4.5/5 Supreme Clientele-Classic Pretty toney album-4.5/5 Fishcale-Classic More Fish-3.5/5 (cant count this one against him) Big Doe Rehab-4.5/5 cant forget about the work he put in on only built 4 cuban linx and all the other wu-tang albums. They need to drop one of them best of ghostface mixes with 65 of his verses on it. Derranged 07-22-2008, 11:23 AM Honestly I cant ever understand what the hell they are talkin about. Raekwon's voice is less iritating. NYUK NYUK NYUK. black.ink 07-22-2008, 12:03 PM Lyrically Raekwon is second only to the GZA in the Wu. If you can get your head around his slang, he comes up with some explosive ****. Ghostface has a better style, better flow and all-round better consistency. But to answer the original question, the answer is Raekwon. Don Gorgon 07-22-2008, 05:44 PM Lyrically Raekwon is second only to the GZA in the Wu. But to answer the original question, the answer is Raekwon. co-sign. Always felt Rae was underrated lyrically. Also I feel that lyrically GZA is the best. Obviously Ghost is the most consistent with his albums and solo material. |
