Then again...most rappers dont. Even AZ's last 2 cds dont measure up the rest of his collection...at least in my opinion. I miss the days where rappers got together and did a song like this th4l3pr3ch4un 07-20-2008, 05:13 PM jada is still nice but he dont sound as good as he did a couple years ago. Jada has not lost a step in the least bit, he'll drop with the Roc soon enough dont you worry, D Block Prepare for Glory also drops in august. But ill give you credit John Blaze is the ill ****... i was referring to his lyrics, not his flow but you might be right and i hope your right. Hes been doing alotta mixtape stuff but i hope to see him step it up a level when that d block album drops. I got mad love for jada, styles, and sheek and i hope to see them make all the money they can. The lox was one of the first rap groups i listened to....i started listenin to rap back in 97 so ill always be a lox fan. Truth 07-20-2008, 06:00 PM Props lefhook, thats a nice freestyle. **jada laugh** lol aristotlemoses 07-21-2008, 03:10 AM i was referring to his lyrics, not his flow but you might be right and i hope your right. How can you say he dont seem motivated? Hes been workin real hard this summer and he showed up at the summer league games to support his younger teammates and workout with them. The last time he got consistent playing time he played the best hes ever played, from january to april of 2007. Ill be the first to admit he had alotta attitude problems earlier in his career but hes 31 now. People change as they get older. Hes made all the money he can make...from what i seen all he wants to do is win in new york. Its sad that people call out marbury and fail to say anything about curry, crawford, and zach randolph. They say marburys not a winner...crawford has a career winning percentage of about 32%. Hes played more regular season games then any other player in the league without ever playing in a playoff game. I hate knicks fans who think crawford is actually a good player. Hes a 6th man...he cant shoot and plays no defense. Marbury is still the best player on the knicks...yes he does have a big contract but its an expiring contract. Donnie walsh and mike dantoni would be stupid to buy him out. aristotlemoses 07-21-2008, 03:52 PM oh i didnt say anything about the others cause i only saw marbury. but yea your whole team is in trouble still, itll be awhile before you guys are good. and marbury just aint that good im sorry. not as a point gaurd anyway. and last year when he was sitting out was ridiculous...even when his fatehr died. i mean ok one game i can understand. but get back on the floor and try to help your team. who cares about management go out there and play. but your right hes not the main problem. curry is trash, ive never liked him. Floyd Sinclair 07-21-2008, 04:58 PM do they have a sports section here? i agree, as a team the knicks are trash...garbage...sh!t...whatever you wanna call them. Majority would be against me in a marbury arguement but the majority has opinions influenced by the media. Marbury is a point guard...who can score, just like chris paul. Marbury in his prime was very close to chris paul talent wise...but CP3 has had a great attitude from day one. He doesnt complain about his teammates and hes easier to coach. Marbury averaged similar numbers to chris paul earlier in his career. He used to be a guarentee for 20 points and 8 assists a game. Somehow he did that without having the best teammates. In minnesota all he had was a younger garnett. In New Jersey all he had was keith van horn, and a rookie kenyon martin. When marbury first came to the knicks he averaged 9.3 assists helpin us make the playoffs. I dont understand why people say hes not a point guard. Hes always looked to get his teammates involved...and he can score. Marbury lost his aunt, his basketball mentor, and his father last year. He had it real tough but he refers to last year as his "best season" because he found out alot about himself and he became a stronger person. Its easy to go along with the majority and stereotype as the same player he was a couple years ago but Ive seen a different marbury since the 2006-07 season. I always liked him but this was when he became my favorite player. He played real good but somehow everyone forgot. Then last year he was hurt, he lost his pops and his aunt. But i expect him to play his heart out next year...some say hes one of the most talented (no, not one of the best) point guards ever. I hope to see him change some opinions and not completely waste his talent. MetalVomit 07-21-2008, 05:09 PM When I first bought the last Jadakiss album, I thought it was great. Sold it a while ago. I don't think his next album will be any better. Floyd Sinclair 07-21-2008, 05:18 PM I never thought kiss of death was great but i always liked it....3.5 or 4/5 kiss tha game goodbye was the closest jada will ever come to droppin a classic....that if its not a classic. Im not sure but its close...jada would have to get some real nice production to make a cd as good/better then that. aristotlemoses 07-21-2008, 05:46 PM i mean in reality im only busting balls because i actually do like the knicks deep down cause i used to like ewing and the old knick teams but i work with a knicks fan constantly and we always argue. plus im a sixers fan. he told me the knicks were trying to get AI which i dont think would ever happen. but if it did id actually buy a knicks AI jersey. aristotlemoses 07-21-2008, 05:46 PM but you guys are mostly garbage from bad management cuase at one point you guys had like a million gaurds and no decent big men. im interested in seeing how the italian does this year. |
