Players that u thought were gonna or should of had a bigger impact for either your club their country or someone elses club etc

for Arsenal i was very disapointed in Jose Reyes he looked like he was gonna be a great signing at first especially once he settled in, i can remember him spanking the ball into the top corner from outside the box matter of fact he scored twice that day against Chelsea in the cup, he was also the leading scorer at the begining of the 2005 season if i recall , i thought we gotta a damn good player here i soon realised the guy was quite fankly a whimp that could not handle the phyiscal side of the game and was sooo inconsistent

Rebrov is the one that springs to mind, I really thought he was gonna do it for us. Just didn't work out for him.

Rebrov Shevchenko

those 2 were class for Dynamo Kyiv i always thought they signed the wrong one and should of gone for Sheva it looks like the both flopped in the prem lol

mind u i can remember thinking why did we end up with Wiltord instead of Trezeguet but on reflection the statue that is Trezeguet is not much better TBH

Circles is Wiltords nickname cause he used to hold onto the ball to long and do lots of circles before releasing it lol

great player for Lazio was Veron never settled did he

i honestly think he would have settled in better at somewhere like Arsenal u know ,where they play less direct with the emphasis more on a passing patient game

possibly.

i think it was just the Premiership though, he didn't have the time he was used to having in the Serie A to do what he wanted on the ball

he was on top of the world before he went Man Utd, regarded as one of the best players in the world by most

do u think someone like Riquelme would settle then ? that guy seems to want all day on the ball

Deco spends a lot of time on the ball aswell does'nt he and he is not the biggest so u never know if he will settle ,i think he will though personally i he has showed he can handle football at International level and CL level against English oposition etc

i could not believe Liverpool paid 10 mil for Babel even at the time i thought it was a little strange Babel is a good player but he is more like a ball carrier with pace ,before he signed for Pool he played against England u21 for Holland and he looked very good at what he does which is run with the ball but he had no finish and no end product and he showed that in this tournament thats why i was suprised Pool were willing to cough up 10 mil for him

Recently, Tomas Rosicky and Julio Baptista.

Rosicky is a great little player but he is far too injury prone. I thought he'd become the star of the team but it didn't work out that way.

Baptista, well he was just ****e.

I'll never forget how poor he was and then going back to Madrid and scoring in the Classico at the Camp Nou.

Typical.
