Just quit my last game of Football Manager 08. Won everything in sight with Real Madrid and couldn't take them further.
Where the **** can i start next though?
Ive now won in England, Italy, Spain, Scotland and at International.
Im thinking maybe France, Portugal or Germany. Anybody played in any of those leagues?
Id hate to spend time starting somewhere and it turns out ****. I remember i done that in Germany before and noticed a lot of the players names had been changed because copywrite laws.

What teams were you to achieve these trophies?
I get the most pleasure been teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa as their Chairman has liem a 2 year plan or whatever to win the league. You get a decent transfer budget, and is actually a challenge wo win the league.
i find it most fun to take over a good team in the Championship, cos then you can get promoted to the top flight soon enough but you still have to build a Premiership team from scratch

3 teams id recommend to manage are
villareal
sampdoria
deportivo
villareal are a young squad with potential and some funds but breaking the foothold of barca and madrid is hard
sampdoria are a decent side with history and good players but with limited funds and no real targets the serie a title is a real ask
deporivo used to be a classy side but with no recognized players its hard to build them back to champions league and la liga success

Well, England i started with Man Utd, Spain i started with Real Madrid amd Italy i went Juve (there not a top team in the first season).
My crowning moment in the game was winning everything a sight with Aberdeen in Scotland. Its ****in hard to get past the old firm.
