What Team Will win the National Team Championships on July 26th?
-Team Millenia- Based out of Millenia Jiujitsu
-Team Camp Pendleton - Camp Pendleton Marines Varsity Team
-Team City Boys - Based out of Sacramento City College Wrestling
-Team Rukkus - Based out of Modern Fighting Systems
-Team Shen Wu - Based out of Shen Wu Kung Fu
-Team CSW - Based out of Eric Paulson's CSW and OC Jiujitsu
-Team Cleber - Based out of Cleber Jiujitsu and OC Kickboxing
-Team Vo - Based out of Tom Vo's Taekwondo with some Camp Pendleton Marines
-Team Riverside - Based out of Riverside Submission Academy
-Fight Club 29 - Based out of Marines from 29 Palms
-Team San Diego - Individuals from various schools mostly from San Diego
National Pankration Team Championships
Date: July 26, 2008
Time: Noon to 6PM
Location: Santa Ana High School
520 W. Walnut St., Santa Ana, California
Spectators $8 adults and $5 studants 12 and under
Standard Amateur Pankration League Rules - www.fightleague.org
Men’s Teams have a competitor in each of the following weight classes:
-135lbs -145lbs -155lbs -165bs -175lbs -185lbs -200bs -220lbs and 220plus
There are a few openings with some teams due to last minute injuries etc....

Men’s teams: ages 18 and above. 16 and 17 year old may participate with parental waiver. Licensed professional fighters may not participate.
EVENT INFO
This is a dual team event. The top four teams will receive a Trophy and individual medals for all top 3 team members. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches.
This is not an individual tournament. Winning Teams will advance in the tournament. Losing teams will enter a consolation bracket for 3rd place.
Individual wins will score the following team points:
Submission: 6 points
Tech Submission (15 pt advantage): 5 points
Major Decision (8-14 pt advantage): 4 points
Decision: (1-7 pt advantage): 3 points
Criteria for tie:
1. Team with most individual wins
2. Team with most submissions
3. Team with most individual scoring points
We will also have a special Kids Team Competition: Cadet (11 – 13 year olds) Teams have a competitor in each of the following weights: -80lbs -95lbs -110lbs -125lbs -145lbs
