hmm im thinking margarito has to get cotto early if he's going to do it. catch him when he's vulnerable and dont let him off. if not i see cotto grinding out a comfortable UD or grinding margarito down to the body for a late tko.

This is a major step up from anyone Margarito has fought before in my opinion. His only chance is a KO because I just cannot see him outboxing Cotto. Definitely buying the PPV though.

I would be stoked if it was in 16x9 let alone HD. I doubt it would be in HD. It really depends more on the other end if the states are willy to broadcast it out of the USA in HD. I can't imagine Foxtel would be putting any additional pressure on the US network for it. This is would be worth upgrading to HD for I agree.

Whilst I see your point, Judah has more hand speed than Margarito IMO. Judah was probably always going to land a few because of it. The only query for me in this fight is how will Cotto perform going backwards? I would of thought Tony would be keen to come forward as the aggressor and that's also how Cotto likes to fight.

When Cotto lands, he lands hard. Margarito has to respect his power or he'll find trouble. With these power shots, he also wears you down for an onslaught when his opponents vulnerable.

Margarito's only chance is pressure, as we don't know what Cotto is like fighting on the backfoot.

I'm going with a Late TKO with Cotto.

Viva Margarito by TKO in the fifth. This will be a war with both fighters landing ferocious punches before Margarito stops Cotto who's also a tremendous fighter. Margs will be a monster by the time the fight comes and will be be too strong for Cotto. This is gonna be a helluva fight!!! Fight of the year 2008.
