I remember when his brother Roger "The Black Mamba" was fighting on TV, he always seemed to fight "angry." He had an edge to him in the ring that made him appear real high strung. You know how some fighters have to get psyched up by trash talking or acting all bad BEFORE the fight starts? Once the fight starts, they sort of settle in and fight. Roger fought the whole fight with that angry disposition.

Floyd SR, on the other hand, didn't seem to have that much "kill" in him when he was fighting. All the talent in the world, fast hands, great moves, above average chin. But deep down, and this is just my guess, I don't think he had the "intensity" that his brother Roger had. Jeff fought much like Floyd SR.

And even today, when Roger is seen. It always looks like he's STILL ready to go! I like Floyd SR. I think he's also funny by the way he trains "against" his son in fights.

I don't think, I know so..he may not have been as good of a boxer as Leonard, but he was def quicker. In his fight with Leonard he is definitely the quicker fighter.
