I think Tom Brokaw might be a boxing fan, he sometimes uses boxing analogies.
For instance, after the Vice-Presidential Debate, Brokaw said that Cheney reminded him of George Foreman because he was slow but had a powerful right hand. I think he also said something about Kerry almost scoring a knockout but the debate lasted for the full 15 rounds.
