The best weekend of football that I can remember! First UT beats SC, and impressively too. But, more importantly?? the Steelers run all over the Patriots!! :D I actually cried I was so happy! "pretty good"?? Big Ben is fantastic, and if Cower let's Maddox back on the field after his 'injury' is completely healed I'll never forgive him!
With Ben, Duce and of course good 'ole Heinz, they're damn near unstoppable! I very much hope to see Chad Scott back on the field when they play Philly next week

HELL YEAH!

Yeah, they messed me up on the poll; I was doing ok til they beat Minn. For once I have a perfect score in the evening games (first time ever!!!!!!!!!) unless SF actually wins!

Yeah, the Pats had their streak when they weren't even a truly dominant team. It was mostly smoke and mirrors with alot of luck. Watch for a fade from those guys now. Rothlisberger is a frickin animal. Kid is the real deal.

The first game of theirs that I saw this season I posted that all they had was a passing game and if a team could shut that down they could be beat. I dont understand how they've remained undefeated this long! They simply arent THAT good! ;)

i do love a bit of US footie, I dont know enough to get involved too heavily with you experts as its not my national sport (shame i wish it was soccor bores me at times, big rugby fan, which isnt too dissimialr in some ways.)
Anyway Gaints and Chicago are the teams Ive always looked out for..me and my dad used to watch it in the golden days of Marcus allen (i know he was raiders)Morris at the Giants, and my big hero Walter payton, (hence my interest in the bears). Giants were the team I just always follwed we used to pick two each and sit up have a few beers and watch the games, aaah the days, Mark Duper, clayton, Herchell walker,Eric dickerson, Andre Rison, Jerry Rice (still going strong have the raiders shipped him out yet?). Great game would love to go live some day.

Can you believe that in just a single week the Bears managed to double their wins total? Talk about improvement...

My sarcasm hides my despair, of course. At least that Krenzel kid looked okay, though I think Grossman is the real thing. Reminds me of a young Peyton. Once he went out the year was a washout.

Just in case you didnt know, the great Walter Payton passed away recently :( and Jerry Rice is still doing his thing just with the Raiders now instead of San Francisco ;)
