Woman aged 85 stabbed and raped

An 85-year-old woman was stabbed and raped in a "heinous attack" in her own home in Bolton, police say.
The attacker forced his way into the house in the Smithills area last Friday night as the victim was trying to lock her kitchen door.

Police said he initially demanded money but then stabbed her in the hand and leg, before raping her several times in an ordeal lasting up to an hour.
Officers have made an arrest but are still appealing for information.
The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape on Friday morning, but detectives say the inquiry is still ongoing and any witnesses should contact them.

'Heinous' crime
Det Insp Paul Hitchen, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This was a disgusting and vicious attack on an elderly lady in her own home.
"She is obviously very distressed but she is receiving medical treatment for her wounds, which are not serious and is now in the care of friends and family.

"We are determined to catch the man responsible for this monstrous attack.
"If anyone recognises the description or knows who committed this heinous crime I urge you to get in touch."

The attacker is described as white, appeared to be in his late teens, slim and about 5ft 4in tall. He had short dark hair and was of a slim but strong build and spoke with a local accent.

in the USA they would be looking at 50 to 75 years, but over hear the sentance will be less than 10, un-****ING-real.
life sentance with hard labour is the only answer.
