Who was/ is/ or has there ever been a rookie fighter(someone over the age of 30) that has been considered a top contender. If so, what kind of record did they have. Just looking for some hope here, I have two of the best trainers(imo) in the buesiness and they say I hit as hard as some of there best, one in paticular is Tyson, so if any of you can help and give this old guy some hope.

This is boxing we dont have rookies we have prospects.

Who are your trainers?

Micheal Grant was the last guy I can think of that started out very late. He fought for the undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the World something that 99% of the guys in this sport can only dream of.

My trainers are Freddie Roach and Boris(don't even ask me how to spell his last name) He trained Oleg Trakorav or what ever his last name is, a one time UFC champion.
