They were the best team in the tournament, they played positive attacking football.

If Spain were a person
That person would be Tim Henman

Tim used to have a stroke called the Auschwitz Forehand
The ball would fly into the crowd, killing any Jew within 2 Metres

Best team won it, I thought the Krauts would have nicked a one at the end, but they looked shagged out, best Euro's I have ever seen, probs coz we weren't in it.

Spain must be favourites for the World Cup now because they have a young squad who were a lot better than all of their opponents and I can't see Brazil or Argentina beating them either.

I made a bundle on Spain winning it, I have to be honest though I picked them due to the Liverpool connection but had no idea they would be as good as they were.

Technically they were superb and that's worrying for our National side as I just do not think we can than match them in that department. However it was a joy to see a team play the game as it should be played and actually win something.

Hopefully the days of negative but effective football is over from the likes of Italy and Germany although I doubt it.

Best tournament for years, perhaps ever? Although for different reasons Euro 96 was a cracker.

Couldn't agree more mate, cracking tournament and the team playing the best football won (honourable mention to Holland).

It'll be interesting to see how they get on in the World Cup, I don't think a European team has won a World Cup outside of Europe.

Agreed, Holland were superb going forward perhaps even better that the Spanish but they were missing something defensively. Two years on Spain should/will be a major force at the World Cup.

Our priority is qualification lol.
