from what i hear his buddys work here at the Hollywood Video, and he went in there messing with his friends, with a bandana on his face and said he had a knife to his buddy (joking) and the cop heard him and told him to drop the knife but he didnt have one so i guess he said something to the cop or something like that and the cop shoot him..

most all off duty cops carry guns. Just for situations like this. When my in-laws got robbed an off duty officer saved their lives cause he had a gun. I just wish he would have shot the **** in the face. I don't like cops. The idea of having law enforcement officers is a good one but somewhere along the way they went from "to protect and serve" and started harassing poor people and minorities.

they are sapposed to (if off duty) and involved in an altercation go to "on duty" mode

I don't even want to get going on this sub right now. That cop did what he did, to try and save a life. Not just to be trigger happy. High insight is great and you guys can talk all you want on what could have, should have happened, but the fact is that cop was just trying to do his job, and that kid was ****ing stupid to pull a stunt like that. My whole fam is full of cops, and I have some very good friends that are cops. One fam member was there on the streets of NY on 9-11 and did her job very well.
