so i work the door at this bar.

and a couple weeks ago i met this girl Paola (Pay Hola but most call her paula) we talked no big deal.

Today she was all bummed out cause her guy friends were all runnin game on chicks and they were not hangin out. Also her X was there tryin to pick up girls so she felt like ****.

she came to me and we talked a bit she displayed her unhappyness to me and explained the situation. I just told her what i thought about how her X is a fool and he is losin out and all this **** so not to be sad over him cause she is better than the both of them.

she gave me her number and told me to call her (no pressure she said) and that she wants to hang out.

So i'm psyched all like YEAH *****!

anyway she comes back and puts her arm around me and like lies her head on my shoulder still sad.

she leaves and apparently has some kind of apifany comes back giddy giggly and happy.

she says how something just dawned on her and that what i was sayin was right. and how even tho i do not know her for **** just my ability to listen to her and just talk to her really endeared me to her and she said "I will never forget this".

So i called her phone giving her my #. I told her if she needs anythign to call no matter the time.

she was cool with that.

She cemented me as a friend informing me that i am not her friend.

I wonder if i went from possibly being able to get with her to being stuck in the friend zone all within an hour.

if so, did i **** up or did i miss any signs?

dude you didnt do anything wrong and she just MET you and you JUST got her number .... heres some advice....wait a week to call her.... if she has a answering machine leave a message but dont leave her your number just let her know youll call her.....

if shes already got your number then wait about a week and then call her or if she calls you in that time first thing to say to her is sorry hon ive got previous arrangements..... it will provide her sense of the chase which girls like, and she will think why doesnt this guy like me? is it something i did? no ones ever turned me down before like that? etc...etc... so just bide your time and when you feel like a mac daddy call her and arrange something fun with a few drinks involved and some dancing and something that brings you closer to her etc...etc... and work it from that angle...

as it stands ya your friends cause you dont know each other that well, give it time no rush man.

my biggest problem is that i work 9pm-3am everynight excapt mon and wed and she has a normal job.

oh well she is 4 years older than me anyway
