Magic Man 08-01-2003, 09:50 AM it's not a joke either, not some play on his squid like intelligence, it shows the extent he is ****ing the troops over.
That is just ****ed up if that is true.

realkaps 08-01-2003, 10:10 AM I'm voting for him because he is the republican canidate, or I just wont vote at all.....

Mr. Beelzebub 08-01-2003, 10:15 AM We're chosing and indivual representing a party, not the other way around. I haven't, wouldn't, and won't vote for Bush. Not because of the party he represents, but because of the simple fact that he is not fitted to represent the country.
Back to being a post whore, gracias.

Don't worry, only the uneducated will think that. Most people with half a brain know that the voice of a "President" (or Prime Minister, in Canada's case) doesn't necessarily mean the voice of the nation.
An example would be when our Prime Minster didn't issue Canadian troops to help out in Afghanistan a while back---Newpapers and media here in Canada ripped him to smithereens. We were all embarassed with "HIS" decision to ***** out.

So, just because we live in a different country invalidates our ability to empathize?
By your logic, if we haven't been in a situation we should not be concerned with it? Well then, why is the US in Iraq? Why feel sorry for the Jews who were killed in WW2? Why feel for the people dying of starvation in 3rd world countries? Why should we defend a woman being beaten senseless by her boyfriend? Why should we care when a hobo is choking on his own vomit?

Thats because they are men who know what it is to do their job without complaint, but just because they don't say anything doesn't mean they don't feel anything. Patriotism is powerful tool in US culture, hell, I've read its even against US army policy to speak poorly about bush, of course they can't say ****.
Still doesn't do anything to dissolve the fact that Bush and his cheapskate cronies are ****ing them over.
realkaps 08-01-2003, 11:43 PM Like I said, do somthing about it. Nobody is going to, so things will be the same. Even if everyone tried to make a difference it wouldnt matter......

Hey its your country man, I'm happy in mine, I just balk that people defending your country are treated so...crap.
If you're happy with that situation, all the power to you.

We just stick to voicing opinion about countries we live in, you just go in there and bomb the ****ing country if you don't like it.
When it happens that you are attacked and people get killed then the other countries become important again. "You are either with us or against us" said bush. Well **** it, when it comes to **** like that I am very much against you.
Get your own act together before you come walshing into other countries and overtrowing regimes because they are "bad" for their citizens.
When it comes to other things, I love you kaps :)
computer fogie 08-02-2003, 02:55 PM Our great new government (Bush Jr. and Co.) talks so much about how they care about our soldiers. Bush poses for photo ops with soldiers just so he can sway public opinion about himself. But when it comes time to back up his rhetoric, he turns around and ****s the soldiers and their families. This is all done very quietly of course, we don't hear this stuff on the news. It's so ****ing disgusting, and while this goes on the right-wing faithful still believe everything Bush says. I wish all our soldiers and their families knew about what the government is doing to them. Bush is a liar and a heartless bastard. His huge increases in military spending only benefit corporations, not the people doing his dirty work. We don't have to like or dislike the orders they're given, but it's really sick to screw the men and women of our military forces. Here's a link that summarizes the screwing of our soldiers by the Bush admin:

Tell your friends and relatives in the military; they're being ****ed like all the rest of us. It's all a sham!

But there is one thing your forgetting Kaps.
There is an international community that has to deal with him. Its not that they can about what he does to america, they care about what he does to the world. He basicly spit in the face of the U.N and everything it stands for. Dispite the fact he might of disagreed with them, dispite the fact that YOU might disagree with them....the united states is a member of the U.N
They agreed to follow the rules and they didn't. Thats what people don't like about Bush and to a lesser degree the United States in general. They preach freedom and law until it works against them. Then **** it
