Mexico was the selected host for World Cup in 1970, and then they took over The World Cup in 1986 after Colombia turned it down at the last minute for not having enough resourses. When the US hosted the World Cup in 94. It's funny that most of the people who attended the games were Mexican and not Amercans lol..... It was like hosting a 3rd World Cup for us lol...
