I just heard on the radio they are now going into the 10th and last round. The pratt on the radio was carrying on about what a great fight it was and how Fenech and Nelson would be hard pressed to compete with it but he didn't say who was bloody winning. Grrrrrrrr

Although i thought Kickett did win and alot of people say otherwise, the scores were abit out there should of been alot closer. Both the commentators were saying Kickett needed a knockout to win near the end.

the score card was bull****..fight hard to score, depending on how you like to judge a fight.

i would have been happy with a draw, maybe a close UD to Kickett..but I would understand St Claire's disappointment at the result.

Either way, I was very impressed with Kickett. Definitely a future star if he keeps his head in the right spot.

I'm happy Willy got the win because he hurt St Clair in the fight, but I think the scores should have been closer.

Willy did well considering it was his 11th Pro fight and he's only 21 years old, he took some got shots, he can only get better. in five years time he'll be still only 26 so if you think of it like that he's got a bright future.

BULL**** decision. St clair clearly won by 2 rounds. At the very least, if the were gona rob st claire they should have made it a draw.

considering this is his 11th pro fight, he did really good. but he has a hell of a long way to go. no way he will win a world title within 2yrs. unless he gets a guy like stripe drew, the guy danny green fought.

comparing to the top superfeatherweights, he would get owned severely. i honestly thought he would fight better than that and st clair wasnt that good either.

I had it to St Clair by 3 rounds.

Kickett got beaten up a fair bit. He did land some solid punches in a few rounds. But i thought St Claire definetely won.

Judges trying to keep his 0 in tact.

Not a bad ploy though, because this guy will be better than Gamboa. Just wait and see.

its really hard to say if he will be better than gamboa. gamboa is just a freak of nature, but has to work on his D. while william is still very very young. William has got a long time to work on his D. but judging from last nite performance, he was pretty ****.

but putting it into context, he did really well. 11th pro fight, making a huge step up in competition. showed heart as well and only 21. williams crew should manage him properly and take a step down in competition, and build a confidence booster.

even though he won, (in many eyes he lost), his confidence has deflated.

Agreed! I gave Kickett last two, maybe three rounds. St Clair was the busier fighter in first seven and kept backing Kckett up throwing nice combos. Kickett came back with some good counters and uppercuts but St Clair took the lions share of the first seven.

Isn't there some boxing connection between Kickett and Johnny Lewis??? Hence the UD verdict in favour of Kickett. No way Kickett should have got UD.

I had kickett winning 4 out of 6 rounds (rounds 1, 4, 9 , 10). I was barracking for kickett so I thought I may have been a bit biased towards him so when I heard that 2 judges had scored the fight 2 rounds to 8, I thought st clair had won for sure
