I finally got a decent paying job doing an interesting job.

I'm now a network abuse engineer for another in the line of big ISPs :)

Which roughly translates to going after people like Cesaro that post spam and stuff :)

Also involves tracking down hackers, script kiddies, and other **** like that. Got a lot more leeway to learn stuff and write our own tools, etc, than I've ever had before. It's great.

I even get a cellphone and business cards instead of a headset and a choker chain.

I'm very happy now. It's official - I'm out of tech support.

No more chained to the desk.
No more 30min lunch breaks.
No more whiplashes for being more than a minute late.
A window seat at last.
There is even a well equipped gym here.

This is a great day indeed.

Once I get into a regular routine, I will start balancing out my weight sessions with MMA.

Atm, I'm just doing lots of weights and lots of cardio to cut fat. I gained 20lb in the past year. My powerlifting would contribute to that but I gained a lot of fat in just getting married. Will be good to finally get into a solid training routine and see my abs again :)
