Dynamite Kid 06-18-2008, 04:34 PM has C.Ronaldo effectively already gone ?
he could stop all this transfer talk about Madrid and not once has he catergorically stated he wants to stay at Man Utd
i say he is already on his way allthough there is gonna be an almight tug of war between Man Utd and Real Madrid cause United and the glazers are adamant they wanna keep him
abadger 06-18-2008, 04:51 PM I think he'll end up staying. No way are United going to sell him to Madrid after categorically stating that they won't. They have his contract and they'll agree to let him move next summer, not this.
x-PeROxiDE-x 06-18-2008, 05:00 PM Ronaldo goes nowhere.
They said they would rather let him rot in the reserves that sell him to Real.
If they mean it, Ronaldo won't let that happen and will agree to play first team football.
Remember, he was also gone after getting Rooney sent off in the world cup...

He actualy has stated many times he would be staying at united over the past few months. He is just refusing to talk abouyt it anymore to jurno's who wont let it rest.
Rooney_MUFC 06-18-2008, 06:03 PM This day and age, a contract means **** all!!
Ronaldo is just winding the press up, he's going nowhere
TommyGunn. 06-18-2008, 06:51 PM As a united fan i dont care to much for Chelsea but i was sad when Jose left cause he was great for the game over here. Same thing with Ronaldo. You want to see these guys stay in the english game.

I agree with you on Jose, but if Ronaldo wants to leave, keeping him here will only harm the English game. It will create a certain mentality among the top players, "don't go to england, you'll never leave"
Rooney_MUFC 06-18-2008, 07:46 PM At the end of the day, no player is bigger than the club
If he wants to go, let him go, Look at him for Portugal.. he wont be half the player away from United
TommyGunn. 06-18-2008, 07:50 PM I think it will be a disaster if he leaves. We're not exactly a one man team but our team is built around him. If he goes we will need to sign Robinho or Messi to slot in.

If he does go, i think Robinho will be threw in with the deal, weve been linked with him since he was a kid

About 2 aperances for Madrid and like a cap in a friendly. :boxing:
Robinho is a quality player. Fast, skilfull and knows where the goal is. His game is more to creating though. 14 assist 2 seasons ago and 18 last term.
He'd fit in perfect to uniteds style with one up top and 2 behind.
Rooney_MUFC 06-18-2008, 08:10 PM All my points says, Ecuador could play Colombia for a week straight and there'd be no goals lol
Rooney_MUFC 06-18-2008, 08:13 PM If i was Fergie..
**** Ronaldo, Sign the guy with the daft haircut for Ecuador hes a gem

he is lightweight does'nt score enough goals for a 25 mil+ Player
but hey if u think he is a quality player cause the papers talk about him and he is Brazilian carry on
Robben is a far better player than him problem with Robben is he is always injured ,Robhino is a good player but he aint on the level of Messi ,Ronaldo and i dont think he will ever live upto the hype TBH
