Right now I'm playing GTA:4, I'm not even half way to finish the game. Should I wait until I beat it first or just buy MSG:4 and play that bad boy instead?

Man, I've been playing Snake Eater on Extreme just to quench my thirst for MGS4. I'd go get it, if I was you.

Depends. I'm a big, big fan of the MGS series and if I could I'd be playing that bad boy right now. But alas I only have a 360 ATM. I will get a PS3 though this year and MGS4 is the reason why. Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy series, God of War and free online doesn't hurt the system either.

I highly recommend that anyone with a PS3 get MGS4.With that said, If you really enjoy GTA4,you should finish it.Playing two games at the same time never worked for me.You can easily lose your attention to one of them.

I haven't played the other games in the series. How hard would it be for me to get into the storyline?

GTA 4 kinda bored me after the missions where you rob the bank, still completed it but it started getting dull there. Get MGS4 :)

MGS4 is sick as ****, imo. I got it when I was done with all the missions in GTA4, haven't played anything else since.

Also, for anyone that hasn't played MGS4 understand that it stays true to the previous games, which means there are a lot of cut scenes and dialog. The story of the game is probably one of the most advanced you'll ever see. You can skip all the cut scenes if you want to but you'll miss out on a lot of cool ****. It's like almost watching a movie at times, crazy.

**** it, I bit the bullet and got it on Wednesday, I'm still on Act I, trying to find Liquid at the base camp. I already met with Sheryl and her commandos. This game is ****ing intense!!! I love fighting along the PMC's, the new camouflage system is dope as ****, the graphics are superb and the story (although a lil' complicated like most MGS games) it's intriguing. I'll be playing that **** today, hopefully finish Act I and and Act II, I love it!

Think im going to pick this game up when i finish GTA. Iv heard some of the cut-scenes are really long, is this off putting or does it add to the enjoyment of the game?

It's ****ing quality, just completed it today for the first time took 15 or so hours. I reckon though when I replay it I'll skip all the cut scenes and codec and complete it in less than 5 lol.

Wanna try and get stealth and the bandanna.

Brilliant ending to the series, ties up all lose ends. Also has the trademark humour, and breaking of the 4th wall.

Physco Mantis kind of comes back, and I tried switching to controller port 2 on the ps3 like the 1st game, and you get a funny codec from Octagon. And Colenel messages you about it as well, real funny ****.

Also you revisit Shadow Moses, and Octagon tells you to change discs. lol. Then goes "oh wait you're on a ps3, it uses dual layer discs or whatever" and Snake tells him to get a grip.

The product placement is quite cool, and seems to be a bit fan boy at times :-p or maybe a two fingers up to the idea of a port.

The cut scene's are brilliant first time round it's like a deeply immersive movie.

When you replay for about the 5th time like me they get a bit annoying when you've seen 'em so many times.

Also you can jiggle Rose's boobs on codec by shaking the controller.

THere are some long cutscenes, but I like it. Its like a movie.

If you don't like that then don't play the game. Its like an action packed movie.

MGS4 is probably the best game ever made!!!
