Although the information isn't as solid as if 30 Helens agreed, EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich believes the PS3 is going to keep increasing its sales and that Microsoft will announce a price cut for the Xbox 360 at E3.

He foresees the PS3 gaining momentum and claims Metal Gear Solid 4 will actually have a greater impact on the console's hardware sales than Grand Theft Auto IV did.

Divnich also believes that Microsoft will announce a price cut at E3 next month, speculating the console could also get a new hardware SKU with added features.

He claims if Microsoft does cut the price, Sony will respond with a drop of its own within two months. We're currently gathering up 30 Helens to see what they think.

Yet another price drop for the 360? :O It's gonna be amazingly cheap!

360 is better, cheaper more games and has sold double the units of the PS3. :ugh:

Sony is finally catching up to the 360 after all the mistakes they made at launch. MGS4 is definitely going to increase PS3 sales and now with Blue Ray taking over the digital video market, Sony will be on top again. I predict it will take over 360 by the end of the year, Final Fantasy on the way biaaaaatch ;)

360 has already peaked. Expect the Xbox 720 in 2 years.

Sony did screw up underestimating MGS4 though...(great great great great game...), they woulda sold 3 times more MGS4 BUNDLES if they had had more...

Whichever company gets out the redesigned console with a 45mm chip intact first takes second place this generation.

The PS3 loads up Blu-ray movies in less than 30 seconds. HD DVD players take a whole ****ing minute to EJECT a disc!

No I'm not. Gears had a flawed cover system. When trying to get away or even run around corners, it automatically make you cover. That's dumb.

I honestly don't see Xbox360 way better like some people claim. Sure its good and all but I don't see in which aspect it is better. The graphics for both systems are really good and there's not much of a difference (even as PS3 has the better GPU by what stats and facts show). The online for PS3 is free and even as it doesn't have technical support like Xbox 360 does and more serious users, its free. I mean, i'd rather pay for online to ensure it is better but PS3's online is allright(maybe not better then Xbox360's but still good). PS3 has a blu-ray which some buy just for that feature. It has web browsing. It has less technical problems and is more dependable then Xbox360. I want to get an xbox anyway but I don't see it as better then PS3 and if an xbox360 owner can show me otherwise then IMO, xbox360 isn't better

How son? Give me a reason why Xbox360 is better? Because of more games? Sorry that don't cut it since PS3 is comming out with more games too. I'm not saying that the Xbox360 isn't good but I don't view it as being better like some claim

Lots of people argue which console is better, but if you add up all the positives and negatives you will find out that they are most likely equally as good.

That was the meaning of my first post. I never said that PS3 is way better, both are great systems and perform similiar in some ways but people make xbox360 to be the "way" better system and I just wanted to understand why. I don't see either of them dominating the other in key aspects, both great systems each with their own features

I'm getting a PS3 for my 21st.

Well I'm getting xbox360 soon, lol. You can't go wrong with PS3, blue-ray, free online, web browsing, new games, its great. Same can go with xbox360, great online, becoming cheaper, more online support which is why I want to get it

The graphics are about even on both systems, and I prefer the games on 360 since 360 has cool killer zombie games like dead rising which ps3 does not

I have both systems and PS3 is by far the better piece of hardware. Xbox360 has by far the better online experience for those who wish to play with friends, clanm8's and family.

PS3 has hardware built like a pc more than a console. You can in literally 3 min change your HDD to a larger HDD. The technology is mostly non-Sony proprietary which lets you look for deals and gives you a larger selection. You can buy a HDD of 80gigs, 250gigs or 360gigs depending on what sales you see and what you want. Xbox has no such thing and you can only buy there over priced HDD which is 120gig max. Same with bluetooth devices.....etc. I wont elaborate on the other stuff right now.

Xbox Live is way better than Play Station Network (PSN). You can send recieve in game chat request (can't on PSN). You can recieve and send messages without leaving game (can't on PSN). You can send recieve game invites to friends on other games (can't on PSN).

To be fair to PSN though, there new update of firmware 2.4 is suppose to remedy some of these deficiencies.
