I jumped it once and i got it runnin and i was like hey i'll try and turn it off see if i can start it again.

Looks like Auto Zone is the cheapest at $125.99 ($100.00) core charge for an alternator. A junk yard probably isn't going to have one that new but it's worth calling around to check. You can remove it and take it to auto zone and they will test it and the battery for free. Check the belt first to make sure it's tight. Also on most of the newer cars there is a fuse block under the hood that has a fuse for the charging system. You can check it first. You said the lights got dimmer as you drove so it's probably not the battery.

So I would check the fuse and the belt first. Then take the altenator and battery and have them tested.

no the light didn't get dimmer as i drove they just seemed dim.

i'm not takin anything out. I have no mechanical ability.

I'm gonna go to like sears auto center or something and have them look at it.

but the car is still under warrantee so mabye i will go to the dealership

could it just be from corosion on the battery?

VulgarTheClown
