Why is the foot movement on this game so ****!?

trying to move on this ****ing game is like trying to ride a bike through trecle, its horendous. On top of that, when you get hit with hooks (Includeing the ****ing sidestep hooks you get knocked half a foot across the ring) you cant block the follow uo shots. Blocking shots is reedickyalussly hard.

However, it is an alright game. Those flaws just piss me off immensly. So i decided to make a rant thread about it.

Its not as bad as reviews said it is. It deserves atleast a 7/10, but it has a bunch of flaws though some good things about it. The campaign is one of the funniest to play in my opinion. But whats really dumb is after you beat the campaign, you can't continue fighting random boxers. Kind of ****ing stupid if you ask me.

I only rented Prizefighter and i am starting to be thankful for it, i am thinking i will stick with FNR3.

Yeah the double tao thing helps a bit, but when you have no stamina you can't do it, so you end up stood there getting hit which for some reason makes it pretty much impossible to move.

Yeah, I only completed it on easy so I still have things to accomplish on the game but the career mode only lasting 33 fights was a bit short. On FN3 I was 126-0 and 65 years old before becoming bored with it.

I usually play sports games with the sound off while watching a TV show or listening to music so I couldn't be bothered with the storyline stuff. Whenever I tried it was just people talking about crap.

I also wish that you could make big heavyweights. I made mine as tall as I could but he was still shorter than Enzo Mac.:puppy_dog

I like that they put Eubank vs Benn and Norton vs Holmes as unlockable extras. It would be nice to have a few more fights than that though considering how many Don King was involved in.

I like the game because we haven't had a new boxing game for so long and so it's great to finally get one. The game has lots of flaws but at the same time I am glad I bought it and it's good fun to play.

Without online mode I'd probably get bored of it before too long but being able to play against others means that I'll probably be playing it for a few months at least.

So i take it this game isnt worth buying, as i was just about to order it?

Most people don't like the game, but others (like myself) think that it's pretty good.

I would advise you to rent it if you can, that way you won't have to risk the full amount on a game that has gotten bad reviews, but you can still judge for yourself.

i bought the game last tuesday. i've gone threw all the career mode and got about 4-5 wins online. i havent played in about 3 days, and dont really care to play it anymore. not much else i can do that doesnt take starting over. i cant stand watching ko's happen with shots to the arms and back. body shots causing the head to snap back. one fight (my last on career) was glitching so bad, the computers character was moving all over the ring without moving the legs. if you find the right position in ducking/blocking you can stand the whole fight with out getting hit. stupid things like that drive me crazy.

For the blocking thing, what position is it? I had a low guard and leaned off to the right a few times, and the guy just kept punching to my left and missing. He did it about 15 times, each time I popped back and countered. Carried on like that until he went down, but it didn't seem to work when I tried it against someone else.

Also, is there a way to make career mode rounds more than 90 seconds? That's one of my least favourite things about this game.

yeh PF is crap from what i can see and from what i heard but people are desperate for a new boxing game so some people just live with it sad really that there not any other games out there that people can turn to but oh well.

Virtua Tennis 3 is mint man, only bad thing is the career mode is a bit cheesey and arcadey if you know what i mean.

That Sega Sonic Tennis is the same engine as Virtua Tennis 3 aswell, so its all the same, insted of playing with Federer your playing wit Sonic lol

its there man. hold back and to the characters right. block low ,get the right spot, and you'll almost never be hit. i beat most of the the classic challenges that way......i dont think you can change anything other then difficulty on career. hate the always saved by the bell thing and how the the life refills after every round.

I think the **** that comes out my ass looks better than this ****.
