I managed to get the game a day early off play.com, completed and it maybe just be the best game ive ever played. To put this into perspective I have got Grand theft Auto 4, Halo 1,2,3, All metal gears, All devil May crys, All ratchet and clanks, Both KOTOR games, Legend of Zelda from orcana of time upwards, Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Resident Evil 4, God of War 1&2, Orange Box, Half Life 1, Uncharted, Call of Duty 2&4, Resistance, Onimusha 3, Gran Turismo 4, Super Smash Bros Melee, Burnout Takedown, Paradise, Revenge, Oblivion.

There probebly the highest scoring games I have, Metal Gear Solid 4 was leagues above the rest. Online is also AMAZING.

Games not easy either it pretty challenging. I just passed the part where you meet that gun launderer after sneaking through that hideout thing. That part is easy as hell if you find the disguise in a locker you can just walk right through instead of all the stealth.

Game is amazing, i love it. Played that and Prizefighter recently. Metal Gear is 10x better than Prizefighter that for sure.

Is the game short or did you just blow through it like a maniac? I got the feeling it was a long game. Its been challenging thus far too i like how you have to think about what your doing and cant just go guns blazing and blast through.

Well i got the crocodile rank at the end ermm Metal Gear is my favourite game sooo yea. i NEEDED to finish the thing. Hideo Kojima is genius to be honest the ending got me remember not to leave the room when the credits roll. Not gunna spoil the ending for you but if you've played the other metal gears then you'll understand. It's a pretty long game, i just played it for a long time to get it out the way, I've been waiting for the conclusion to MGS for too long, so i had to get finish it quick.

I have to admit to that lol, I just have a lot of money to spend. Games happends to catch my interest. If its good I'll get it. I do get out...... sometimes

Congrats on beating the game. I played Snake Eater and it was a beast. This one must be easier, right?

meh i dunno, it didn't feel short. The bosses were pretty amazing, not as good as some of the others in Metal Gear but still damn amazing, especially the last one. Online keeps you entertained afterwards anyway.

Man,i got mine today,this game is on another level,everything is SHARP,and that robot that u can have spying for you is genius,this game is sick,hopefully i can finish by thursday before i go on holiday

I didn't like the online on battlefield, I'd say MGS4 is a much better game.

I really do not care for the stealth games. I have played the Hitman, Splinter Cell, and Metal Gear series. All that sneaking around, dont step on a twig or they kill you turned me off.

But this game allows you to run and gun if you wish. I have cleared areas with just me and my gun.

I recommend this game HIGHLY.

Theres alot of action.

It reminds me of Call of Duty 4 at times.. With all the enemys you gotta fight... (well I did.. **** stealth lol)

There's alot of guns and ALOT of secrets.. You gotta look around. Mad shit to do.

Online is good aswell.

As you progress you will meet him. Once you get a gun and can't use.. Go to the weapon select screen, highlight and unlock.
