Systems have nothing to do with this list, it's all about the games, if they happen to be on sony systems then so be it.
Although I love Halo, all the Halo games they are hardly the best games that I have played. I don't have a PS3 I actually have a 360, or I should say my brother has a 360. Besides I haven't seen a PS3 game on anyone's list yet.

I agree, there will never be a console as good as the SNES, hands down the best console ever made. Good little list you got there, I'm shocked you put Maniac Mansion II, I don't think a lot of people remember that game.
Damn, it is tough to choose only 10 games...let's see...
1. Final Fantasy III or VI in Japan (SNES) - Hands down the best Final Fantasy game in the series IMO, the story line, the characters, the graphics at that time and the music score still remains in my head. I have never gotten so deeply in a console game before.
2. Leisure Suit Larry: In The Land of the Lounge Lizards (DOS-PC) - The first game I ever played on my PC back in the mid-late 80's. So risqué and adult orientated, and funny as hell. Good memories :D
3. Final Fantasy VII (PS-One) - The first FF game on the Playstation, it started where VI left off in terms of storyline, gameplay, memorable characters, the best FF game on the Playstation as of yet.
4. Super Mario Bros. (NES) - The original Mario, enough said.
5. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) - The addition of costumes, world map, and warped worlds made this game an instant classic and the best of the series.
6. Resident Evil 2 (PS-One) - Oh man, this game creeped me out and kept me with my eyes wide open glued to the TV until I beat the game. I loved the dual-CD different ending setup, very clever.
7. Doom (PC) - Controversial, bloody, satanic, violent, God bless PC games. It kept me busy during 6-7th grade in Middle School.
8. Punch Out (NES) - The best boxing game ever made, an all-time classic.
9. Street Fighter II - The original and grand daddy of all console fighting games, I still have not played a game as addicting, revolutionary and cool ass fighting game such as Street Fighter.
10. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) - The best Zelda game ever made IMO, and the first one I ever played since I've always been a Final Fantasy kind of guy.
Chups 06-16-2008, 06:01 PM There is not 1 newish game on that list.
Don't be a dumbass Rizo....he said Alltime. Todays Games can't compare with the past in terms of originality and excitement.
Chups 06-16-2008, 06:04 PM The greatest game should be the game you would bring if you were to be locked in a cell for a longtime or maybe the moon. It has to be replayable with the game's excitement still intact after playing it several times.

Yeah man. Alot of people were unlucky to never have experienced Maniac Mansion back when it came out in 91 or 92 I think. I have fond memories of me and my godbrother playing that game when we were little noobs growing up. Big ups on your Top 10 for the explanations and being different from the mainstream as far as Top 10's go.
