I’m picking Fedor to win, I think his style is a bad match up for Sylvia, Sylvia likes to counter and can be too passive, he will wait for Fedor and Fedor will find him, stay in his face and problay take him down and ground and pound him for a late 1st round or 2nd round TKO. Sylvia’s only chance is to come out aggressive and stay aggressive even when he gets hit, I just don’t see him doing that. Time will tell.

It's hard to pick anyone who fights Fedor to pull out a win (infact I wouldn't pick anyone over him). I just see Fedor closing the distance, clinching and tripping Tim. Tim has great takedown defence in regards to when people shoot on him, his sprawl is very solid, but he's vulnerable to takedowns from the clinch (as the Couture fight showed us). Fedors takedowns from the clinch are unreal, I think he'll get Tim down and either sub him or TKO him. I do worry slightly, because Tim is actually good at tying people up in his guard and stalling.

Obviously Tim has a chance, but I still see Fedor as the clear favourite.

Overall it's a great event, and I hope Affliction stick around. They're very promising, and having this as a first card is unreal.

Yeah the card is unreal, possibly the best card ever? we'll have to see how it plays out.

Your right about Fedor and his takedowns, he clinches then explodes, his dirty boxing is deadly too.

I think they are fighting in a ring, if so then thats another advantage Fedor (not like he needs it).

I've said it from the beginning. Silvia will put out a great performance. I still have the feeling as most do in that Fedor will win but Silvia will make it a hard fight for Fedor and anything can happen in MMA so betting that Silvia will win isn't that far off

there is nothing skillful about 'dirty boxing' its called holding and hitting. i hate that ****ing term it gives people too much credit.
