I am going for the upset Shane Mosley will defeat Winky Wright by a majority decision. I think Shanes going suprise us all, I know he made the same decision against Forrest and lost but this time his career is on the line. He is going to go into this fight with a must win attitude. I believe Joe Goosen and Mosley will have a new fresh game plan. Anyone who believe the same outcome will happen again isn't thinking right, do you really believe that after the last fight Mosley would do the same thing?Goosen and Mosley are not stupid, there going to make changes. I personally want Mosley to win because I would rather see Mosley vs. Trinidad than Trinidad vs. Wright. And would good to see Shane revive his career.

This is the scene I believe we will see after Mosley vs. Wright.

Mayweatherfan - You're calling a Majority Decision, which means you don't see either guy dominating, eh? Well, Shane probably won't be able to adjust enough to change the outcome.

Also, Wright/Tito is less interesting than Wright/Mosley? A fight we havn't seen versus a fight that already happened (and was decisive)?

I don't think Mosley will dominate, but the suprise will be he fought goood enough to win the fight fairly.

You must have misunderstood me,I meant was Mosley vs. Trinidad is more interesting than Wright vs. Trinidad.

Mosely hasnt really won a fight since before Forrest. He was outboxed and outlanded by around 90 punches against De La Hoya and got an early (or late) birthday present from the judges. Mosely will not win, and I hope he retires, because he deserves better than to keep fighting and losing.

IF this result really happens, especially since Wright gave up his IBF belt to give Mosley the rematch, I am sure we'll see Mosley-Wright III and not anything involving Trinidad immediately.

i think shane pulled out the first de la hoya fight, no way possible he won the second though.

I'm going with Wright but I think Mosley can pull it out if he fights the right fight. He has to become the boxer and not the follower. Tough thing to do against a taller, rangier opponent, but that's what he has to do: come in, pop a few off, and dance around.

I hope shane can win convincingly cause boxing needs one of it's biggest names to actually win a fight at the moment. If he does so then trinidad-mosely is mouthwatering with the winner going on to fight hopkins. Don't get me wrong i like Wright and if anyone deserves success it's him but boxing needs big pay per view fights and Wright just doesn't fit the bill.

I think he will on on points again though in a much closer fight.

I agree completely, he has been a great guy for the sport of boxing too. The man is so polite and he speaks so well, I hope he retires and joins a boxing play by play team such as HBO or Showtime.

The future is wide open for a fighter who has been at the top AND gets out while he can still speak!

yes i do think mosley is just that stupid
he did the same mistake with forrest
aswell as in my eyes against oscar in their 2nd encounter
he just isnt the same fighter he was at 147
i think goosen maybe be able to help him out a bit
but i think it may be to late in mosleys careers
its gona be the first time daddy wont be there

what u talkin bout this time his career is on the line?
it was on the line after forrst ***** slapped his ass around the ring in the first fight
no one thought hed be fightin oscar a 2nd time or any otehr major fights if he lost to vernon agian
just like now
if he loses to winky again many people just dont see him in big fights anymore
but we all know the fans dont make the fights
its all up to promoters whether or not shane sticks around, regardless of how good he still is or isnt

I don't think Winky will dominate Shane like he did in 1st fight. With Goosen in corner Shane will have a solid gameplan & someone to tell him he's losing the fight, or give him the right advice (not confusing the hell out of him like his father did). This fight will be alot closer. Plus Gossen doesn't want him lifting anymore weights allowing his muscles to tighten up so that he feels fatigued. Anyone notice how Shane was breathing after the 2nd round? It was horrible.

Whoever wins this fight would give Tito a very difficult fight. Both guys are quicker than Tito and both guys can confuse him with footwork. I would love to see Tito fight the winner!

Shane will probably lose, i think mentally he is so defeated from his last few fights ( all losses ) that he's not mentally right to pull off an upset. When he gets in there and it's not so easy to hang with Wright, he'll be even more discouraged than he already is and most likely will be outworked and lose by decision

After seeing Mosely-Wright 1, there is no way I can envision Mosely pulling off the upset this time unless it's some sort of fluke. Winky is just too big, strong and fast. Shane's a great athlete, but how can he possibly get inside and do some damage? I have no idea. :(

While anything is possible,I'm sorry to say that I think Shane Mosely is done, at least at this weight. He can't beat Wright IMO. His style is perfectly suited for a guy like Winky. I like Shane but I don't seem him winning the rematch.

P.S. Your avatar is awesome!

If the first fight was closer than there might be a chance. I just don't think Mosley has enough in the tank to beat Winky right now.

I like Winky in the rematch. I don't think Mosley has anything left, he wouldn't stand a chance against Tito. Maybe Toto, but not Tito!

Shane can't even handle 154 (DLH & Winky)... Don't think that he'll have the balls to face Trinidad who would surely destroy him in just a few rounds.

Tell you what I'm a BIG fan of the sugar man, but I feel his loss vs Winky had to with Winky himself being better, and not Mosley being under his normal level. He's probably gonna bring his A game and I hope he does but I just think he doesn't belong to this weight class.
But maybe you could be right if he throws staigth rights /lefts in combo instead of singel looping shots like the last time
I'll cross my fingers for him anyway :)

Yeah....that's why he has all of those losses, right ?

I also like how you said, "Shane pulled out the first fight, but no way he won the second fight with Oscar."
You're implying that Oscar won the second fight more decisively than Shane won the first.
Totally unobjective....totally ridiculous.

You're an Oscar nutlicker.

I see Mosley having very little chance against Wright. Shane is a blown up lightweight. Too small for Winky...and to top it off, Wright is just as good or better a boxer than Steroid-boy...............errrrrrrrrrrrrrr..I mean the guy who worked out really hard

UD decision for Wright

You still have to give mosley all the credit in the world, he never had to fight Winky the first time. Everyone knew that was probably the toughest person to pick. But if mosley does beat winky and fights tito i see someone in the third row picking up mosleys head.

The result: Mosley lost to Wright, thus giving Wright the opportunity to fight Felix Trinidad. Wright dominated Trinidad and Tito retired after the fight. Wright then beat Sam Soliman to put himself in position to challenge Jermain Taylor for the Middleweight Championship of the world. Mosley later rebounded by taking on lesser opposition before facing Fernando Vargas. Vargas was stopped in the 10th round when veteran referee Joe Cortez judged that he could not see well enough to avoid punches.
