its the garbage bag type looking suites pants n tops for cutting weight for boxers.. i bought one for when i start fighting and having to make 139. walking at 150 , the suit will make it drop easier..

i tried it out, just the top on today and ran a solid 30 minute run, i was sweatng buckets. i didnt weigh myself. but im definetly gunna use that for one of my runs every week.. i dont think ill ever use both pieces at once unless im seriously cutting weight in short amount of time...

anyone have this suit or ever try it ??
its pretty good, im happy with the buy. i feel good

Do you feel very hot in it? I was thinking of buying one, but I don't know if it would be healthy to use it in the weather we get here (around 95 degrees fahrenheit and very very high humidity).

I've been tempted but I don't need to lose that much weight. Plus, you would look like a dick if you wore one out here lol.

i got the grey one.. and yea i felt like a dick when i was wearing it a little haha, but at the end of the day boxing is all business baby , i dont give a **** who see's me, im doin what i gotta do for boxing.. thats that...

and no i didnt feel really hot in it.. not at first at least.. when i was finished , walking off the run n going back to the car i was pretty hot, couldnt wait to take it off... i dont recomend wearing it for more then 30 minute to an hour while running... and its good for shadow boxing and skipping.. anything else tho forget it...

its not bad, im happy with the buy.

When you rehydrate you'll just gain the weight back, all you are doing is dehydrating yourself.... dangerous and not very smart imo.

I agree with Ned. The only time it is apliccable is right before weigh in. You will not lose weight, using it in the longer term, it's unhealthy, and will be detrimental to the training you're doing while wearing it, as you won't be able to make the same effort as without it.

Use it the day of the weigh in, maybe the night before if the weigh in is in the morning.

Dehydration = Very bad for your ticker

Taxing your cardiovascular system while dehydrated = Superbad for your ticker.

Doing it on purpose on a regular basis by wearing plastic suits = stop

I'm assuming you are the proud owner of a few tubs of abolene..... put that away too....

i use a sauna suit to make weight. i know my body and what it can handle, and that's the most important thing.

hmmm i personally think cutting excesive weight in a short period and that is unhealthy.....i wouldnt do it unless i had an important fight schedueled and desperately needed to make weight and i wouldnt be able to get a fight in another weight class........its quite dangerous, i read a boxing article and the writer (an experienced boxing author and former amateur boxer) said hard training, a good diet (especially inbetween fights) is the best way to make weight

A sauna suit is used in a pinch to shed some water weight, its does not accelerate fat burning...

sauna suits should only be used a few days before the fight if you're struggling to make weight imo. it aint good for ya! plus you look a right tit running in one of em lol, 3am jobby.

yea i prolly wil be only using it the day before fights.. but if the weigh ins are same day as fight.. then ill be using them like teo days in advance, with proper eating management and using the suit right i think itll come in handy.. instead of like weeks of killing myself ot get the weight down, ill only have to kill myself for a week tops to drop the last 5 pounds.. i drop from 150-145 easily when i do 3 weeks of training camp... but the 145 to 139 part is the rough part ,the suit should help. but ill take all your advice and i wont use it except to make weight for fights. the less i use it the better

I guess you're in luck then, since the weight division is 141, not 139...:tapedshut
