Sparring mate, want something with a bit of quality - got some everlast sparring training heardgear at the moment n its rubish. Got any favs? Do you know the answer to the pro sparring headgear question?
I notice that in states you can have competion headgear with checkguards? in international competition it has to be round faced i think, why do they allow the chechguards?

The Grant headgear has alot of padding for more protection it is also full faced head providing more coverage, this is probably why pros wear it. With more protection there is less of a chance of injury.

I use the Rival RHG Pro. I love it. For the money it is amazing. Very light, awesome visibility, I get very little neck strain and/or headaches with it. Next time I buy headgear I'll go with Winning (it's double the price), but I'm very happy with the Rival RHG Pro.
Oh, yeah. And it's longer on the sides than in the front, shaped like an actual human skull -- not round -- so it doesn't spin around on your head when you get hooked.

agree with fraidycat 100% although I use a TKO headgear I know a few people who have one and tried it out myself its pretty good. Also the Title Gel headgear is nice.
