Palma 06-05-2008, 11:00 PM What the **** he do that for? I don't know, but that was a cheap shot and this guy was a high ranking instructor. j 06-05-2008, 11:16 PM this has been around the martial arts circles. never underestimate somebody who knows where to hit you - no matter what advantageous position u think u r in. but, this, i wouldn't call a vulcan death pinch. actually, if i remember star trek(orig) i think it only made people faint. anyways, from what i have heard, the student of the ref was cheating and the other guy did something back. at that point the ref/teacher of the kid who was getting beat up stepped in and blindsided the kid/guy. had a ref done that to one of my boys, he would be layed out flat. so, to sum it up, from what i have read elsewhere: the ref was the teacher of the student getting beat here. the ref's student was playing a bit dirty. opponent did/said something back to defend himself. the ref/teacher stepped in like a ***** and blindsided winning fighter. i will say one thing, do not **** with traditional martial arts teachers. they really are ****ing ruthless. some, even a bit crazy. but this guy would get flattened if that tourney was in my area. i personally would not tolerate it. |
