Wonder what United fans think, especially the ones who thought he was Sir Alex's successer.

He was linked with Chelsea too.

TBH, he should have steered well clear of both of those clubs with the track record they have of shitting on their managers.

One fires a manager after taking the Premiership title race down to the final day (When it was all dead and buried just a few weeks before) and losing on penalties in the chamions league final.

The other fires a guy who has, lets face it, been the most successful manager there in a long time.

Mark Hughes COULD be a great manager, but he needs to move to a club where success is rewarded, not a club where the owner expects to put a bit of money in and achieve instant success. Football teams need to be built, and given time to gel and learn to work together. Mark needs a club where this is taken into account before the manager is blamed and fired.

And WTF, 3 years? He'll be lucky to last 3 games with that ****ing Thai cunt expecting to win the league the first season.

Feel sorry for Blackburn, I thought he had unfinished business there and was ready to take them a step further. Now all that work will be unravelled, Big Sam will probably end up there, maybe Souness again, or possibly Shearer?

He should have stayed at Blackburn for two more years, the United job would have been a gimme for him if he'd done that.

Now its less than 50-50.

He will do a good job there if the owner lets him.

I think Hughes would rather bring success to a team rather than a team bringing success to him, I don't expect him to go to united for a long time if ever.
