well it's too dramatic. you maybe tryin to show or tell people what is goin to happen (only time will tell), but still the pictures are too cheesy and overdramatic. nuclear explosion? comets collidin into planets? fallen cities? fire fighters? GEORGE BUSH???? and probably a few more that don't really make any sense. your a boxer, not an advertiser. let your skills do the talkin and not some corny video. from what i've seen before, from your other videos, is you have some crazy work ethics and skills that really can show your future potential.

I'm gunna have to be honest and tell you straight up that is one of the cheesiest videos I have I have seen. What is this showing you're going to? Release a new deadly strain of the bird flu virus?! Not enough structured content in the video. The music alone is corny, it is so over used it and now makes me cringe when I hear it in amateur video clips.

Yes it is very dramatic for the low level i am at right now in boxing.

But it is what I will reach so I think its just before its time... But its always the best i think when its said before its time...

Because then when you look back it feels better... of course its gonna be more that what i am at the moment. And to be honest they all make sense... you just don't understand what I am hinting at and what this video and me actually have to do with it.

You do... No one sever said it was large though.... And im sure ya don't work with my intensity... My work ethic is what makes me think so highly of myself... Confidence is my strongest trait... I work extremely hard to build it and make it stronger and stronger... People don't understand that being able to do Certain things will build anyone confidence... and improving on those things just adds to the fire.

So having an ego isn't bad as long as it has come from the work you have done alone. Now showing if your ego has grown at the proper rate will only be known through your actions. And thats Winning. And thats What I will do.

Anyone who works hard enough and knows they have pushed themselves to the limit constantly at every turn...Will have a Strong confidence.. whether its quiet.. Or loud.

So i don't know if you've made that statment in resentment or as just a gaurd for yourself to the statements people have made against you.. But either way I take it as a compliment. Thanx for checkin it out too. ;)

First off, the words used are not doing much for me...

When you speak it's cool not to use proper English, but when something's written, especially in a video that's supposed to promote your greatness, it has a permanence and you want to make sure that it reads clean.

If you mean "Time's only opponent" as if you are so bad that you can even give Time (that, which conquers us all) a run for its money; then you might want the apostrophe and no "the".

If you mean "The only opponent of the era" or "The opponent of the current times" as like you're the greatest thing of the era or the opponent to bring about the end of the current era; than word it more like that.

I don't doubt you got a great work ethic, but i think you'll want to show something more intense than just jogging. My buddy's father-in-law runs 5 miles every lunch hour, even in the blazing sun, and still looks like a tubby used car salesman. Show something more intense: sprinting intervals, sledgehammer, weightlifting, calisthenics (good ones), functional strength stuff like sandbag work.
In Tyson's old highlight clip, the early morning running was done to show how alone the guy is.

For the fight footage you might want to pick better moments, or put the moments you do have in slow motion- using some sort of effect. As it was, I only knew which one was you because of the short hair - neither looked dominant; sorry, but someone holding your glove while you pot shot him back really isn't dominant. What that build up and music, you need Tyson-like KO footage or maybe clips of you suffering adversity in the beginning but coming back to put on some hurt.

You've got some good ideas; but like others said, we wanted some more substance, i kept waiting for it to get to the good part - a climax to all the buildup.

ooh that was a great response... I expected responses like this...hype and no substance...So theres no problem there...because the fact is no one actually understands it.. not yet.. and thats what I meant it to be....

Only 2 things got me.

The one thing you said about the sentence was wrong. The sentence wasn't alone. CATASTROPHE - the TIMES only opponent. ITS ME. Now i don't wanna explain why i spelled TIMES without the apostrophe...but there is a reason for that.

And yes... I showed me just jogging. and then someone appearing with me after a flash of eyes labeled under it *still watching*.

I have hours of footage of me doing Highly taxing workouts. But this video wasn't for that. My other one at 22,000 was for that... I left the intensity out purposely to focus on other things...that will make sense later...

Yes i showed obviously sloppy moments in fights i've still won.. on purpose... So the Difference Can be seen. Everything that everyone has said is the response I was looking for. No flash here... It sets up for the separation I am making.

But enough of that.. thanx for the great response and taking time to check it out.

I mean yea it was pretty dramatic...but it also was really artistic. And he's the DA1CATASTROPHE so the pictures of catastrophic events fit well with what he was going for...i understood it

Thats what boxingscene has become...a forum where people put other people down because they cant do it or they are jealous...i could never understand how u could b a critic of something you cant do urself. the title of the thread was " the times only opponent... WHAT DO YOU THINK?" so i gave him my opinion and i ain't hatin on him whatsoever nor am i tryin to brin him down. he asked for our thoughts on his video and he got it. i'm not gonna sugarcoat it for him and tell him it was amazin.

you understood some.. CATASTROPHE has been my name for ever....So the Catastrophic Events Were just symbols of what was to come and the magnitude of things i would do for people.

First of all it's not hating to point out errors in a thread it's constructive criticism... If I see a thread ending with 'what do you think', I'm not going to beat around the bush and lick his balls, I'm going to say what I honestly think of it, that's how people improve their videos/ what ever scenario. I'm looking forward to the next video to put the pieces of the puzzle together!

'Kingjames', why do you assume that no one is capable of making a video like this? How have you come to believe that no one that goes on this forum is capable of directing and editing videos? Steven Speilberg could of been one of the users commentating on the video!

Definitely not hating; just a huge connoisseur of highlight vids and thought I'd add some input. If there are more explanations behind stuff and other pieces to the puzzle, can't wait to see them. The language thing was more of a reaction to stuff I saw in the past; great highlight clips marred by "dat's" and "dem's" and almost unreadable in the video captions. I definitely do get the Catastrophe imagery, can't wait to see some of the clips of you wrecking folks.
