And it ain't just this dude. I've grown up around cats like this my whole life who seriously didn't start listening to rap until 'The Chronic' dropped. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm an old-school kinda dude.

I just hate listening to a dude in a clube or on an internet board who ONLY listens to mainstream ****. I don't listen to 50, Jada, etc. etc. Why??? Because there are other artists who are doing it better, that's why. Why eat ground chuck when I can get prime rib?

What pisses me off most about it is that dudes like this couldn't care less about learning more about rap's roots. It baffles me. It's not like the **** is 100 years old.
