They are a great Swedish melodic metal band. They don't follow the typical metal sterotype of swearing,talking about death, or any of that nonsense, there music is metal but its great. There lyrics are awesome becasue their so unique and their guitar riffs make you wanna cry,their that good. They mix in classical guitar playing with heavy riffs, its truly unique stuff.

If your into metal and haven't heard these guys, your missing out.And even if your not into metal you should check'em out, there not like the metal you think of.

Wow, what are the odds of CITA actually listening to good music. In Flames is what got me into the European metal scene 5 or so years ago. Before I get ahead of myself here, you aren't talking about their last two albums right. There were not very good at all compared to their other albums. They were pretty original, but there are a ton of shoot off bands now. What other metal do you listen to?

I actually like the Soundtrack to Your Escape and Reroute to Remain. They aren't as good as Clayman,Whoracle,JesterRace,Colony etc... but I still like'em.

Hey Neuraxis, have you heard of a guitar player, I think is name is Josh Broderick, this guy is the best and most underrated guitarist in the world, he plays for a metal band whose name escapes me at the moment.

That's a pretty good list. But I don't see any Christian bands, and there is a lot of Christian metal out there. I also don't see Dark Tranquillity and they are one of the biggest melodic death metal bands along with In Flames. As for Josh Broderick, I haven't heard of him, but I ran a search and found a Jon Broderick, but I don't know what band he is in. All I know is that it looks like he wins some guitar wars competition over and over again. I'd like to hear him play though.

In Flames is the primary influence for my band Mask of Sanity. In Flames make incredibly smart metal and they are extremely underrated.

Im thinking of buying the new Taproot album. Anybody have it. I bought the single "calling" through sonic stage and like it a lot. I read a review that said they try to sound like AIC. One of my favorite bands. Any thoughts?
