It was pretty good and it has a weird surprise ending, but thats all I'll say. It has alot of plot twists and actually can be funny at times. Not to much blood but it has some.

Overall it is a good Halloween movie.

I heard it was gonna be similar to Silence of the Lambs but...lets just say its no Silence of the Lambs.

I only paid 7.50 but I guess it depends on how much you like scary movies.

I used to like Horror movies, but I have become very superstitious after watching The Ring.

No more scary movies for me.

The Ring is a true, intensive HORROR. I can't watch it again.

ive seen that little boy, i watched a show about it a long time ago and there was a number of possibilites they gave for it but its still a mystery for the most part. the spot he appears in was empty just moments before the camera pans back around and you see him. i dont think there's a curtain draped over him though, it looks like a real boy.

Is this "3 Men and a baby" movie as scary as "The Ring" ?

If so, I will watch it.

Thanks ! Now I remember it. The ghost was probably some curious and nosy kid that wanted to check out what was going on during a film shoot.

thats the #1 possiblity they give to explain it, and its very possible to, but its just fun to check out and see him standing there cause it is kinda creepy the first time you see it.

word has it that the lil boy died in the apt and the parents try to sue the movie for filming him on tape. They boy was ID as the parents kid,he is dead. Just something I heard. The lawsuit didnt make it,of course

hard to say really, most people that give reports of ghost sightings say that they looked like apartions or "ghostly". he looks like a real boy in the movie but who knows for sure.

I've watched the Ring around 10 times...and I just didnt think it was that scary, or that good of a movie. :( I was so disappointed when I finally saw it cause I had heard so much about it, and it was supposed to be very scary and very, very good. I was completely let down by it. I've looked everywhere for the book (supposed to be written by a Koji Suzuki ??) just to see if it anwsers any of the many, many questions I have about the movie. So far I've had no luck in finding it; but overall I didnt like the movie at all. So many people think it's scary as hell and I just dont 'get it' and felt cheated :o

i saw "SAW" last night its a pretty good movie its not really horror although there are some parts where its supposed to make you jump. its more of a suspense, thriller, mystery, dark movie. but i think its worth going to see and if you dotn want to pay 9 50 then if your going to an AMC movie theater fill out a movie wather and get 2 dollars off.

I think hearing about a good movie before watching it is not a good idea. You end up forming high expectations, so the actual quality of the movie will almost always be below these expectations.

I watched The Ring without any high expectations. I was alone, it was late, and I ordered a PPV horror to fall asleep...

Actually, I have tried to watch The Ring again several times, but I could not simply because it is too boring, too sad, and depressing. Not knowing the plot is very important for watching a movie like The Ring. Another good movie of this kind is The Sixth Sense.

That's very true. That was the way it was for me when I watched "Identity"...I had never even heard of it and still dont know exactly what prompted me to watch it (matter of fact, I was cutting up veggies, etc. for home made soup while I watched it! :o ) and it turned out to be a very good movie. I was plesantly surprised by it :) . The only reason I watched the Ring so many times is cause I was trying very hard to "see" what everyone else had seen, and to figure out some answers to several questions I had about the story. I dont bother to watch it anymore and the part about the horse on the ferry is just too much for me :( ....I definately will not watch that part again; not since the very first time I saw it!

I liked the part where the little boy tells his mother something like "why did you help her? don't you get it? the little girl NEVER sleeps".

Well, as long as he comes out of my kitchen tv then that would be funny because the tv is raised on one of those wall thingies... he'd fall off to the ground first and maybe hit his head... :D

Sure enough! Samara or anyone crawls through mine and they will get stuck! My big tv is in the shop right now and I'm having to use a very small one (thank God it IS a color tv atleast!!!) but crawling thru it isnt an option :D
