Out of the guys you named sure they may be tight lyrically but great hip hop is also about a body of work and appeal..

Papoose- dope mc at times. But with no album and no appeal past the mixtape circuit he doesnt stack up to Wayne right now.

Ice Cube- legend to the game no doubt but has been irrelivant for the last 5 years.

Bone Thugs- Two hot albums. Forgettable mc's for a long time now. Really arent the most creative dudes on the mic, just have aggressive flows and a speedy delivery.

Cassidy- Mixtape rapper, has never had a hot album. Tried with R.kelly and a Jay-Z hook to get his **** noticed, and he dumbs down his lyrics on albums.

Joe Budden- Same as Cassidy. Dope on mixtapes but has no "growth" as an artist past that point.


What im trying to say is you may not like Waynes lyrics but the dude has a body of work behind him. Carter 1, 2 and 3 are all dope records and he is in a way forming into a Jay-Z type artist by gettin the attention of mainstream fans because of his swagger and delivery. Unlike 50 Cent.

*Not to forget Da Drought 3 which was a dope mixtape and better than anyone ive heard from any of the dudes you named..
