Nice end to the weekend before work. Better than Heartbeat or whatever ****e is normally on a Sunday.

kick off is at 10.30, i'm quite happy it's that late makes a change anyways. Probably gonna be a **** game though. Dean ashton better ****in play tonight aswell

Its either that or without a paddle on C4 (Which is a pretty good film), but i have seen the film before so its got to be England.

Yawn, glad I played GTA now.

awfull game we gave the ball away constantly in the second half ,also i think we saw why Rafa Benitez does'nt like playing Gerrard in a 4-4-2 cause he cannnot pass the ball over 5 yards without giving it away he might be a good long ball merchant but ive seen CB who can pass the ball better than Gerrard over 5 yards

sideways ,backwards & long glory balls are all Gerrard is capable of ,his short game is embarrassing sorry Liverpool fans its the truth he is a great player but he cannot pass the ball for **** his technique is awfull

Would you agree it's fair to say, Lampard does this better, although slightly less unspectacularly with the long balls?

Or maybe he's just more of a team player, and doesn't go for the adulation of the long ball and the thumbs up from the team mate who misses the ball when it goes out.

Thought it was an alright game, England controlled it throughout, only the heat and the hard pitch got to them in the end I thought.
Gerrard looked disillusioned tonight, very sloppy and was very half arsed, Bridge and Barry linked up quite good and played some good football. If England had wanted to turn it up a gear they easily could of, but they obviously just wanted a nice end to the season without risking any injury.

P.S I liked the kick off at 10:30 tonight, had work today til 10 and it was a nice chillin end to the week. Better than some of the gash you can watch on a Sunday night anyway.

Lampard has poor short game aswell ,thats why he and Gerrard cant play together cause neither player can pass the ball sufficiently to retain possesion

Lampards short game is slighly better than Gerrards but still poor ,Mark Noble ,Tom Huddlestone have better short game than Gerrard & Lampard
