Kimbo would get beat badly, seriously... "Here Comes The Pain!" Dice 06-01-2008, 05:03 AM wow thats the skinniest i've seen Vargas, who did u root for when he fought Mayorga?? And I got Brock by ground and pound KESSLER 06-01-2008, 05:05 AM wow thats the skinniest i've seen Vargas, who did u root for when he fought Mayorga?? And I got Brock by ground and pound I have to admit I was rooting for Vargas.. Sad to see my boy go out on a loss. He fought with heart, and went out like a champ.. so I'm happy. Flawless 06-01-2008, 07:26 AM Kimbo by murder MBL 06-01-2008, 09:29 AM It would go like this Brock comes out fast takes kimbo down in the first 5 seconds 2 mins of jackhammer punches to Kimbos head ref stops the fight Brock wins by smother MMA fans start calling for Brock vs Ken Shamrock to find out who is the toughest mother****er on the planet I dont wanna see that Napalm Death 06-01-2008, 09:45 AM i think lesnar would win by ground and pound after trading punches with slice. Gareth Ivanovic 06-01-2008, 12:54 PM With Lesnar's college wrestling background and Kimbo lack of takedown defense last night. It wouldn't look good for Slice of Cheese. I think Lesnar would take him down and pound the hell out of him. Plus Lesnar is strong as hell to so Kimbo wouldn't just be able to use his brute strength. number6 06-01-2008, 01:02 PM It would go like this Brock comes out fast takes kimbo down in the first 5 seconds 2 mins of jackhammer punches to Kimbos head ref stops the fight Brock wins by smother MMA fans start calling for Brock vs Ken Shamrock to find out who is the toughest mother****er on the planet I dont wanna see that Thats the way i think the fight would go Nodogoshi 06-01-2008, 01:06 PM Lesnar would throw Kimbo around like a rag doll. Lesnar KO1. neils7147933 06-01-2008, 01:15 PM So far it's unanimous beyond the two forum trolls in the poll... Don Corleone 06-01-2008, 02:34 PM I think Kimbo would take it this one in a TKO stoppage. Lesnar's inexperience would catch up with him and Kimbo isn't experienced much either but if it was a striking match Kimbo would win with his deadly overhand right hook. Lesnar is huge and strong but Kimbo would keep this one on his feet th4l3pr3ch4un 06-01-2008, 02:40 PM kimbo will get slaughtered by the ground and pound... he couldnt handle thompsons strength how is he gonna handle brocks LOL neils7147933 06-01-2008, 03:22 PM I think Kimbo would take it this one in a TKO stoppage. Lesnar's inexperience would catch up with him and Kimbo isn't experienced much either but if it was a striking match Kimbo would win with his deadly overhand right hook. Lesnar is huge and strong but Kimbo would keep this one on his feet I don't think Lesnar lets it be a striking match. If he rushes Kimbo the way Thompson did, it ends in 1. Nodogoshi 06-01-2008, 03:48 PM I think Kimbo would take it this one in a TKO stoppage. Lesnar's inexperience would catch up with him and Kimbo isn't experienced much either but if it was a striking match Kimbo would win with his deadly overhand right hook. Lesnar is huge and strong but Kimbo would keep this one on his feet A. I don't think this would be as much of a mismatch on their feet as you might think. B. Brock would take Kimbo down at will and would be able to completely control him once they were on the ground. The only way I see Kimbo winning is if in the opening moments, he closes his eyes and throws as hard as he can and his punch just happens to find its mark. Otherwise, Lesnar wins via first round TKO. Don Corleone 06-01-2008, 04:23 PM The problem with some people is that they think Kimbo thinks he is a great fighter which he doesn't. Many people put high standars on him when he's never had past MMA experience, was homeless and has only had 3 fights. People say he hasn't fought that much of a competition but Thompson is a worthy opponent for someone who's just started MMA and he proved a big test for Kimbo. and what competition will he fight when he just began his career and in his 3rd fight. EliteXC ofcourse will protect their fighters and they see Kimbo as someone who can represent their business and make them money. IMO Lesnar is alrite but has shown his MMA skills to be a bit out of s touch with the Mir fight, but Kimbo's ground game is decent considering its not his best style neils7147933 06-01-2008, 04:28 PM The problem with some people is that they think Kimbo thinks he is a great fighter which he doesn't. That's got to be a concern for his team Gareth Ivanovic 06-01-2008, 04:31 PM The problem with some people is that they think Kimbo thinks he is a great fighter which he doesn't. IMO Lesnar is alrite but has shown his MMA skills to be a bit out of s touch with the Mir fight, but Kimbo's ground game is decent considering its not his best style I know Lesnar lost to Mir, but Mir knows what he's doing on the ground. While Kimbo showed last night that he's still lost on the ground and pretty much just used his strength. Lesnar was a national champion college wrestler and if Thompson was able to take him down pretty easily, Lesnar could as well. Plus Kimbo wouldn't be able to overpower him. I just think Lesnar would ground and pound him pretty good. Don Corleone 06-01-2008, 04:39 PM I know Lesnar lost to Mir, but Mir knows what he's doing on the ground. Lesnar was a national champion college wrestler and if Thompson was able to take him down pretty easily, Lesnar could as well. Plus Kimbo wouldn't be able to overpower him. I just think Lesnar would ground and pound him pretty good. Its true he wasn't great on the ground but did you consider that he's never been past the first round let alone being on the ground. He was decent, reversing and getting out of troubling situations. Thompson didn't demolish him on the ground, he gave him a test and Kimbo passed it. Lesnar probably can take him down but seeing that he was taken down in the Thompson fight he would probably train on his ground game more. Its just everyone is making Lesnar to be the greatest heavyweight fighter when he still hasn't proved anything comming off his first loss Gareth Ivanovic 06-01-2008, 04:52 PM I think Lesnar would lose to the other good MMA Hw's, but against Kimbo he has that wrestling advantage over him. Kimbo could train all he wanted on takedown defense, but it wouldn't make up for all the years Lesnar wrestled. I mean he was a national champ at pretty much the highest level besides the olympics. All the training Kimbo had before know was against Dreads, Afro Puff, and Big Mac in backyards. Kimbo would probably have the advantage on the feet, but Lesnar wouldn't stay on the feet for long. Blair_Wells#32 06-01-2008, 05:19 PM ahh ic another one of these yes Lesnar by ground and pound first 2 mins, Kimbo has no chance of winning this fight. Cuauhtémoc1502 06-02-2008, 12:27 PM I would say Lesnar if he wrestled Kimbo , which I think he would. Kimbo is a novice in this sport but is very strong and his stand up is much better than Lesnar's. Kimbo would have a puncher's chance but the fight would end up on the ground and Lesnar's wrestling would edge this out for him. He actually landed some leather on Mir though and put him down, though I think it was more of a push. |
