View Full Version : Something for you to discuss while I go have sex
Curly Howard 07-17-2003, 02:32 PM If you were/are single and had 3 choices in a mate to get married......would you marry for
love? or money? or looks?
would you marry an ugly poor person if you were in love or an ugly person you didn't love for money or a poor person you didn't love if they were good looking?
those are the choices
In order of importance - Love, looks, money.....
Allison 07-17-2003, 02:34 PM Love. Money and Looks both fade much faster.
Ew. I'm being all romantic and stuff.
ruffneck119 07-17-2003, 02:36 PM LOVE: sounds gay but yeah, I would rather.
Besides part of love is being atracted to a woman sooo.... yeah. I have high standards... most of the time.
LOVE yeah LOVE
Curly Howard 07-17-2003, 02:39 PM So if you met someone who was fat and really not "socialy gifted" but they liked all the same things you did and you got along great and fell in live you would get married no questions asked?
rtbrouwer 07-17-2003, 02:40 PM love.
I did not give a single answer cause for me Love and Looks are equally important......she doesn't have to be a supermodel, but I gotta be able to look at her for the rest of my life......
Allison 07-17-2003, 02:45 PM The thing is, if you just arent physically attracted to a person, what situation would cause you to become so close to them that you fall in love?
So could you really even fall in love with someone that you just arent attracted to?

Wouldn't happen. I wouldn't be attracted to her. Sounds vain but it's the first thing a person goes for.
Bluecifer 07-17-2003, 02:46 PM Love, but I'm probably the guy that some chick will marry for money and then take it from me.
Carlao 07-17-2003, 02:46 PM GIQ- words of wisdom
Mr. Beelzebub 07-17-2003, 02:47 PM Money, I need to find me a rich widow. I hate to work
Money, looks, and love in that order

Nope.....there has to be something there to attract you.....if there isn't, you'll never even notice the person...

You bring up some interesting points. I've heard that some people get better looking as you get to know them better. I haven't experienced this, but it sounded good. That being said, I think you can love someone without particularly wanting to **** them, but that's a different kind of love. I think for a truly close relationship physical attraction is a key factor.

Allison 07-17-2003, 02:54 PM I guess technically, I would have to go for looks first, then love would follow. But i couldnt marry for one or the other.

Hey its been 20 seconds, shouldn't Curly be done by now? He must be thinking about us while he is cuddleing
Allison 07-17-2003, 03:14 PM They're cuddling.
Allison 07-17-2003, 03:14 PM Or, he could be giving the "this never happens to me, I swear" talk.

Hahaha....this has inspired me to start a new thread.....
Kato calls that the "It always happens to me" talk
Allison 07-17-2003, 03:17 PM KatOWNED!!!!!
Carlao 07-17-2003, 03:19 PM The fact is that if you did not find your partner attractive you would not have a relationship. Love is a fundation to a lasting relationship along with honesty, communication, commitment and many other factors. So if you marry someone for the looks or $$$ you are in for a hard marriage.
Those are the wise words of an old man! Me.
Bluecifer 07-17-2003, 03:19 PM HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA! I hate that Bzob is making me laugh today!!!!
Big_Papa 07-17-2003, 03:20 PM love

you forgot the nap
LukeDothSucketh 07-17-2003, 07:54 PM Love, looks money. You can live happily poor with a good looking girl that you love, but you can't live happily with all the money you want and a fat, heinous beast.
