The prison drama based on a true story about a convict that manages to 'sneak' out. Very good film, the way McVicar manages to break out the prison is classic. It's must see for all you fellow Limeys.

"John McVicar was a London Bad Boy. he graduated to armed bank robbery and was
Britain's "Public Enemy No. 1". He was captured and put into a high security prison.
Will even the highest security prison be able to hold him ? This is the true story
of his life, his criminal exploits and his eventual rehabilitation."

I've probably watched it over 100 times.

There is a similar film about a Glaswegian gangster cant remember the name (Laddie?), almost as good, made around the same time.
