I'm listening to a mix I made off of Get Your Bootleg On Remix & Mash-up site. You should check it out. I've gotten a lot of hip-hop/rock/pop/metal/dance collaborations.

I've found the most success linking off posters' hyperlinks in their signatures, but I go to this site every day and usually find at least 1 decent mash.

In the three disc CD changer in my bedroom right now:
"Every Good Home Should Have One" by Patti Austin
"Greatest Hits" by Earth, Wind & Fire
"TimeSquared" by Yellowjackets

In my computer CD player...about 5 hours of Johhny Cash stuff on one disc that I am mentally editing down to burn one killer CD. :D

He corrected by editing so that it reads "Prince".
But just FYI, when I see Prine, I thought of John Prine.....great sardonic lyricist. If you are not familiar, you should be.

Bunch of Jazz music. Jaco Pastorius, Al Dimeola , and more. I was mostly a metalhead but once I started playing guitar, I started to appreciate other styles of music. I like everything from Jazz to technical Death Metal.

Devil music..that sh*t'll make you want to perform abortions. :D

You see that is the general misconception of metal music, if you listen to these two bands and read the lyrics they are somewhat profound and no swearing. No talk about death or rape or anything just good loud music.

BUT..........
you play half of that stuff backwards and it says things like, "Jesus Schmesus! Have an abortion----FOR BREAKFAST!!"

I've never much liked Green Day but their new CD is incredible. Been listening to a stream of it free through Windows Media Player.

When I'm at work I bring anything Public Enemy. Right now I'm listening to their vastly underrated '94 disk Muse Sick-N-Hour Message. Funky as hell :D .

Fear of a Black Planet is the freakin' Sistine Chapel of modern music. I swear people will be talking about it 1000 years from now.

I love the hard-hitting singles off Millions and A91 of course as well. But Fear is an absolute masterpiece...

They've got some hits in the 70's and the 80's, one of them is Separate Ways! I don't think they are still around today. NO, they are not gay.
