Drinking fruit juices will not harm you in anyway so long as they are not strong. If your that worried drink water. But there is nothing wrong with juice. Only **** like ribena and sunny d you have to avoid.
sukhenkoy 05-27-2008, 07:11 PM sterling, if you can, just try to eat the fruit of the juice that you're trying to drink. If you're trying to drink orange juice, just try to simply eat oranges. Same for other fruits. Fruit juices almost inevitably have added sugar and chemicals, so try to avoid them as much as possible.
mt102879 05-27-2008, 07:13 PM ^I agree, it's probably better to just avoid juices all together and only eat fruit. As far as liquids I stick to water, green tea, and coffee.

Yeah. All I drink now is only water - at meals, between workouts, everywhere. Strictly water. If I get a cold, I drink water with added lemons, or, if really need be, hot tea with no sugar, but lemons. Water does the trick.
danny stash 05-27-2008, 07:20 PM Any natural fruit juice has natural sugars but is better than soda. They all are going to have some sugar but cranberry is a good diuretic.
sukhenkoy 05-27-2008, 07:23 PM Yeah. And also if you're looking to clean out your body (like a natural laxative), plum juice will make you **** your ass.
rowdy144 05-27-2008, 07:58 PM haha Asda apple juice 4 for £2? I used to drink those all the time, but cut down when I started cutting now dont really drink it but still buy it for the family as part of family shopping.
Asda chicken wings are the best...10 for a quid haha
kenny91 05-27-2008, 08:04 PM Asda? i take it ur a brit ?
awesome .. go tescos and try Innocent smoothies particularly the ones labelled 'superfoods'. Best one's prob anything with pomegranates in.
but its like £1.80 - £2.00 for a poxy little bottle but u can get bigger cartoons with lasts ya about 5 - 8 glasses probably around under £5 but works wonders for ur health.
but yeah when it comes to fruit based drinks - Innocent smoothies are teh win! ;)
rowdy144 05-27-2008, 08:10 PM lol wow, didnt know there were much brits on this site, I saw the Villa v Arsenal match this season...there was chaos afterwards lol
Landon S 05-27-2008, 08:27 PM Any citrus fruit has vitamin C as Im sure you know. Vitamin C helps prevent muscle loss or damage...sorry I cant quite remember. Anyways vit C=keep muscles (of course you still need protein and such). Ive been eating alot of fruit while trying to lose fat but not muscle and Im having greater success now that Im doing that.
NoS-NoV 05-27-2008, 11:18 PM ONe of the bst juices to drink is grape juice. It has a good amount of vitmain C and it also helps prevent muscle breakdown. Grape juice also helps your body produce energy naturally. i drink grape juice about an hour before my fights and it helps really good.

Do grapes have vitamin B (b6 b12 etc)? they help to utilize carbs more efficiently, if not I think its just the carbs you get from the juice thats giving you the energy.
