View Full Version : Has anyone ever saved your life?
Bluecifer 07-16-2003, 01:16 PM My ex saved mine and I've been thinking alot about it. I washed down too many somas with a bottle of red wine and started puking in my sleep. She had to stay up to keep me from pulling a Jimi Hendrix because I was totally comatose. I offered her $1000 shopping spree but she won't take it. I feel uncomfortable knowing that she saved my life and won't let me do anything to repay her, not that I ever really could repay something like that anyway, but still.
Bluecifer 07-16-2003, 01:20 PM No one? Damn, now I feel even worse.
Prince 07-16-2003, 01:22 PM No, but I saved a life last night.
No one actually saved my lift, but my sister really helped me realize where i was going with my life when i was 15-16 yrs old. IIf i continued to do what i was doing i really don't think i would have finished school and be here typing but who knows.
Now, i try to help others by talking to younger kids

GhosT^x0 07-16-2003, 01:24 PM One time I almost fell 170 feet off a sheer rock face. My friend Marty's grasp saved my life.
Yes, i was going down the path of doing gay ****. She saved me.

Let's hear it. What happened? How do you feel about that person now? Of course my ex thinks I'm a total idiot and this incident is the main reason why she dumped me(not that I blame her), but like I said she won't let me do anything to thank her.
Prince 07-16-2003, 01:30 PM We probably didn't save his life, but did help the dude out.
I think he was a homeless guy, maybe not. He was on the side of the road of an exit ramp in the curve, he was pretty hard to see. He was face down in the concrete and covered in blood, we thought he was dead because he didn't move for the longest time. Anyway we called 911 and ambulances came and took him away.
The Ensanity 07-16-2003, 01:33 PM i told some people like 3 weeks ago, their house was on fire...No serious damage
So I saved a house
Prince 07-16-2003, 01:34 PM I do feel like a better person, though. After a day full of throwing bottled water and handfuls of change at pedestrians and passing cars we helped some guy out.
I almost died when I was a baby....I got real sick and the Hospital was far from our village. My mom didn't know what to do...luckily they knew this lady that was a nurse that lived down the street. She came to our house right away and saved my life. If she hadn't been there to help, I might not have been here today....
Prince 07-16-2003, 01:41 PM Doctors saved my life when I was 2, but I don't count that. That's what they are paid to do.
The Mouse 07-16-2003, 01:49 PM The onion is a lily, botanically.
AgonYx0 07-16-2003, 03:00 PM a few months back i was in LA and my homie and his girl were fighting and he took off a gold neckless and tossed it across the street, and i went to go get it, i was drunk off my ass and i wasnt paying attention to the cars, and i remember hearing that fool yell for me to get back on the street island but i kept walking, then all i remember after that was him grabing me back and a car swerving all over the street.
LukeDothSucketh 07-16-2003, 03:13 PM Nope, but your guys stories are cool
Valerie 07-16-2003, 03:47 PM well, I guess you could say that my doctor saved my life. I mean, if I had been giving birth 300 years ago, neither me nor Sofia would've made it. She was, um, how do you say it politely? Stuck. And this was after 36 hours. I probably would've died from exhaustion.
ruffneck119 07-16-2003, 03:48 PM God and parents all the time.

Bluecifer 07-16-2003, 03:51 PM Wow, stuck in a cooter. Did he get a shoe horn or something?
Valerie 07-16-2003, 08:07 PM naw, they wouldn't actually let me push until the end. It was contractions. But I am a low pain threshold whiney ***** and I thought I was just about gonna die!!!! Two shots of Nubain and an epidural and I still wasn't feeling so good (although the epidural kicked ass!)
heh heh Blue, they had to use the vaccuum!!! Poor little thing was born with a cone head :(
AgonYx0 07-16-2003, 08:22 PM i was in labor with my son 24 hours the last 10 minutes of that 2r hours he was out, my daughter was stubborn she kept me in labor for over 72 hours, 3 days after i was in labor i went the the hospital, got hooked up with the epedural, it didnt work cause i was pinching the cord so i felt everything, i almost killed my babies daddy.

Curly Howard 07-17-2003, 12:52 AM I pulled a carrot from an old guys throat and had to give him cpr....I puked for days after that thinking about it.
Purity 07-17-2003, 01:33 AM kinda.
some have made it better, some have made it worse.
